"His new book, The Changing Times, is being highly praised and about to receive a unanimous endorsement from the board members at Grace Bible Seminary; an endorsement Carlisle and his publisher greatly desire. One by one, each esteemed colleague lauds this new work until Dr Norris Anderson, Carlisle's close friend, has 'difficulty with something'. Dr Anderson believes what is being implied in this book will be deadly and greatly affect the future of the coming generations...the future of Christianity...maybe even your future!"

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this most incredible book. I literally devoured every word. Each page. I found myself challenged by the message of this book. It came at a good time: new year resolutions. This book was rewarding to read. A charming late nineteenth century gentleman trying to understand English and the advanced technology in the twenty-first century, finding everything baffling and bewildering.

This book is absolutely fantastic and brilliantly written! I was not merely entertained but confronted with compelling truth. Very inspirational. Very profound reading in our time—and for the remainder of time! I shall have to re-read this book again!

This book caught my eye on a used bookstore website and, since I'm know Greg Mitchell and his work, I just had to read it. It's a hard book to find, but it was well worth the read. The book, though short and easy to read in a couple of hours, packs a punch.

Russell Carlisle and Norris Anderson are friends and professors at Grace Bible Seminary. Carlisle has written a book and needs the endorsement of the seminary board. However, Anderson refuses to give his endorsement without some changes.

After some heated discussions, Carlisle cautiously agrees to try a time travel experiment which takes him 100 years into the future where the church is just a place people go to feel good about themselves and morals and values are a thing of the past.

The most profound lesson of the book is this (from page 95) "When you remove the Lord from the equation, you remove the Authority behind the teaching and, eventually, people become liberal in their views until there is little conviction at all."

This little gem was filled with insight into our society. What would someone who lived 100 years ago think of our world today? "Time Changer" is a good characterization.
