This crafty romcom queen is an auto 1-Click for me, and in all the stories I’ve read from her, she has yet to disappoint! Settle in for a wild and crazy story within a story as we follow Reeve and Ivy on their road to forever.

We’ve gotten to know Reeve Donovan in the previous stories, and this driven creative type definitely needs a break after his last major motion picture production. He begins his break on Halloween, spending an unforgettable night in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a gorgeous woman he'll never see again.

Except he does, because Ivy Fortune is his new neighbor when Reeve settles into his vacation house. Ivy works at the local museum, very familiar with the legend that a fortune is buried somewhere near their small town. It's her family legend, after all, of star-crossed lovers knowing the location of the treasure but taking that secret with them to the grave. When her smarmy ex brings his fortune-hunting reality TV crew to town, the race is on. Ivy and Reeve are determined to follow the clues and find the hidden cache first.

This is a completely winning series and I have loved each one. Here we have Reeve and Ivy's story which is packed with humour, wit and charm. From the outset Ivy, international woman of mystery, is a woman whose time has come and by grasping her opportunity for fun, she stumbles into the delightful workaholic, Reeve, aka Indiana Jones...and so much wonderful craziness ensues from just this first meeting!
Segue to Ivy's hometown of Milford Falls where we learn more about Ivy's past, her love and knowledge of history, both generally and her family's, her jerk of an ex and, behold, the identity of her new, temporary neighbour. Cue shenanigans, treasure hunts, lustiness, wit and banter...a completely winning formula which I have loved!! Fabulous read!! 💖💖💖💖💖

But now his mind has cleared and Lola's eyes appear in Ivy's face and he's smitten all over again. Now he's in a race with her to find her great uncle's fortune, before her douchey ex does, and to convince Ivy that they're more than just some fling.



I love The Treasure Hunt Hookup. Reeve and Ivy are the cutest, hottest couple to land on my Kindle in a long time. Reeve, though he's grumpy around others, when his dream woman comes into his life, she lightens him up and suddenly he's smiling, and happy, and so in love. I don't think I could have swooned any harder than I did as I read as Ivy and Reeve fell in love.

Ivy is a small-town historian living a quiet life and it’s perfect for her. Sure it gets a little lonely at times, but her scheming, cheating ex turned her off of men and dating for now. Her wild and crazy bestie talks her into a Halloween party, but has to bail on their plans, living Ivy to wander the city alone in her sexy costume. When she meets a gorgeous Indiana Jones, they hit it off and enjoy a wild night together. It was one of the best nights of her life, but Ivy knows that’s only because she pretended to be someone else. The hot Hollywood director wanted Lola, the sexy spy, not Ivy the boring employee from the town museum. She sneaks away before he wakes because she’s sure sticking around would lead to disappointment.

When Ivy returns home, she’s horrified to find her sleazy ex and his new girlfriend in her town, searching for her family’s treasure. It’s bad enough that Jake took all the credit for her ideas, research and hard work when they had a show together, but now he’s on his own and he’s still stealing from her to keep himself in the spotlight. Life gets even more surreal when Reeve, her hot Indiana Jones from the other night, ends up being her new neighbor since he’s vacationing in the quiet mountain town. He makes it clear that he wants to get to know Ivy, not Lola, but she’s not ready to risk her heart again so Ivy’s determined to resist his charms.

I really loved these characters, even if Ivy frustrated me a little at first. Reeve was so sweet and genuine, it was obvious she should give him a chance. Even when they team up to beat Jake to the Fortune family treasure, she’s determined to keep things friendly, but Reeve sets out to change her mind. Ivy’s insecurities and frustration with Jake were so real and relatable. Reeve went out of his way to support her, always willing to let her vent and constantly building her up, not to make up for the way Jake tore her down, but just because he likes her and he’s a great guy. These two are just so stinking cute together. Their story is a fun adventure with a little bit of mystery and a lot of heart and I really enjoyed it.

And after one unforgettable Halloween fling, she has done just that. But when her sexy one night stand shows up in her hometown, Ivy is about to find out that her hookup might just be more than she bargained for...

Ivy was a great character! As a historian and TV treasure hunter, she has never been the kind of girl who men can't resist... that is, until a sexy Halloween encounter with the most irresistible man she's ever met...

Reeve is a highly successful director who also happens to be supportive, intelligent, and hot. All he wants is to spend time with Ivy and help her find the treasure she's looking for... if only she will realize that not all men are like her calculating ex-husband...

This book had such an interesting plot, and a wonderful love story to go right along with it! I loved Ivy and Reeve's first meeting and their road to a long-lasting relationship. This book was another fantastic read in the ultra-addictive, Hollywood Bachelors series!

The Treasure Hunt Hookup was a delight. Reeve and Ivy are pure perfection, and this story is fun, fresh, charming, and entertaining. I loved every minute and was rooting for these two through every adventure.

“He already feels like a partner. And not just a partner in (occasional, misdemeanor) crime, either. Somebody I can rely on, who has my back. Who supports me like it’s second nature.”

Ivy was adorable. Her ex-husband had shattered her self-confidence, but from the moment she met Reeve, he built her up. He saw her strength and spirit and had an unshaken belief in her. I loved how he supported her and encouraged her.

“I don’t know how, or why just yet…But it’s her.”

Reeve was so much more than I expected. Far from the grumpy director in the other stories, he was lighthearted and carefree and all in from the moment he saw Ivy. I loved how she relaxed him. He was such a cinnamon roll hero and I absolutely loved him.

“Love—real love—it’s rare. It’s a fucking miracle, to tell the truth. To meet someone and have that king of connection? To know, deep in your bones, that this is your person. That you could spend a lifetime learning every little thing about them, and still be hungry for more.”

The banter and sparks between these two fly off the page from the first page to the last. They complement one another beautifully and are true partners in every sense of the word. Their treasure hunting adventure was a race against time and it was full of humor, heat, and heart. The Treasure Hunt Hookup was a fun, flirty and fantastic read that you won’t want to miss.

Ivy was a fantastic character and didn't apologize for being who she was. Which is always a win in my book. I loved the fire that she had inside and continued to build upon her character throughout the book. I loved how she knew that she was a catch, and was able to embrace how she felt about herself. So many women struggle with this and it's refreshing to see that she didn't second guess it, not once. She had so much tenacity for what she wanted and fought for what she deserved.

Reeve the big shot movie maker was an even better character than I thought he would have been. He was a charming and wasn't afraid to show Ivy his feelings for her, once he realized them. He was so willing to embrace his feeling sand change things so that he could make it work. And that is huge for someone who is not only a workaholic but also someone who makes movies. He isn't some small time guy in the movies, he was a BIG Deal!

I loved how his sister and niece was always present within his storyline because family can make a huge difference in EVERYTHING. Family can make or break a relationship and his was honestly the best. I just wish I could have said the same about Ivy's family. That is a relationship that will definitely be a challenge unless she put down boundaries and makes them realize that she isn't the parent.

There is so much to love in this book, so I would recommend picking it up! I hope you love it!

Sexy fun adventure!
First meet, lots of heat.
Except...Halloween costumes, secret identities, & a Cinderella retreat.
But... Ivy (secret identity: Lola, international super spy) finds out that Reeve (secret identity: Indiana Jones) will be renting her next-door neighbor's Air B&B for the next few weeks.
Except... when they first meet, Reeve doesn’t recognize Ivy in her frumpy everyday librarian clothes (booo).
But... when he does recognize her, it's full on heart eyes for sure because he couldn't stop thinking about "Lola" and loves Ivy's real identity even more because they have so much in common.
And then... Ivy's jerkhole ex-husband shows up to film his adventure TV show - that Ivy created and he cut her out of when they divorced (grrr!) - about a local folklore of a secret treasure hidden here that no one has ever been able to find.
But... that folklore is Ivy's family history and there is no way she wants jerkhole Jake poking his nose around her history.
So... Ivy & Reeve have to race around following the clues that Ivy has collected over the years to see if they can actually find this supposed treasure because there is no way she wants jerkhole Jake to get lucky and stumble upon something real.

Gah!!!! I love this story!! It's so cute (you could say adorable but Ivy would hate that) so fun, and a bit steamy here and there because Reeve & Ivy's chemistry is off the charts! I love them both so much!
Its a fun, fast paced, thrilling adventure of a hundred year old love story mystery (mixed with some sexual frustration and creative solutions)!

"Another amazing book from Lila. Right from the beginning I was chuckling along with the antics of Ivy & Reeve.
Their first meeting was incredible to read and I really didn’t want this part to end. But if that had actually happened, I would have missed out on how their story unfolded.
I loved the whole treasure hunting storyline. The ups and the downs and then there was the competition and rivalry with Ivy’s ex. Never had I wanted more to see a character get their comeuppance, and without giving everything away, I am excited to say I ended up one happy reader.

Reeve Donavon is a director who needs to take a vacation when he decides on a small town he comes face-to-face with the woman he can't get out of his dreams. Ivy Fortune is an adorable little stressed-out pixie that I immediately fell in love with. Her zest for adventure and true history is a beautiful thing. What's not is finding out your new neighbor is the one-night stand you never thought you would see again. What makes it worse is that it's also the same time her worst nightmare comes back to town. Ivy has a hate/hate relationship with her ex as the two of them had a treasure-hunting show and well she got axed from it. Now he's back because he wants another big break in the name of her. Ivy Fortune's life is history in the making as buried treasure and truths come out. But don't forget Reeve because he's about to show Ivy how to be treated by someone who adores her. However, when push comes to shove and their jobs and lives intertwine will Ivy come out swinging? I loved this little treasure hunt story.

This story was all about Reeve and Ivy. Ivy is a small town historian, and coming out of a bad relationship, she is done with men. Ivy’s BFF talks her into going to a Halloween party, and then she cancels at the last minute but convinces Ivy to go anyway. Dressed as a sexy cat, Ivy wanders around alone until she crosses paths with hot and sexy Indiana Jones who happens to be Reeve. They have a fun and spicy night together.

Reeve turns out to be Ivy’s charming new neighbor, and a big time Hollywood director. Also, Ivy’s ex back to cause drama and more trouble. Reeve and Ivy team up to find her grandpa Earls’ missing gold and maybe, just maybe, the start of something new and everlasting. But the story wouldn't be good without all the side characters, the mischief, the mayhem, and also tying up those loose ends. Well, it's true so I suggest you grab this book ASAP.

This is a well written rom-com by one of my favorite authors. There's much fun to be had with witty dialogue, flirty banter, mystery, intrigue, with some spicy romance action. There is no cheating, no obvious OM/OW drama, and a romantic HEA. I totally recommend this book. Find a comfy chair, some leftover Halloween treats, and a cup of your favorite beverage and fall into this wonderful book.

Ivy can’t believe her new neighbour is her Halloween hookup and more importantly she can’t believe he doesn’t recognise her straight away. What follows is a wonderful, entertaining, funny read as this couple get to know each other while looking for clues to the missing gold. If you love romantic comedy you will want to one click this gem of a read because it’s witty, it has plenty of laugh out loud moments, it has adorable characters but more importantly it’s well written. Great addition to The Hollywood Bachelors Series.

The Treasure Hunt Hookup, book three in the Hollywood Bachelors series, was a wonderful mix of romance and humour. I enjoy Lila Monroe’s writing style; her characters are always so easy to relate too. Whenever I pick up a book by Lila Monroe I know that I am in for an entertaining read which no doubt will leave me with a smile on my face.

This is Reeve Donovan and Ivy Fortune ’s story and from the moment I read the blurb I knew I was in for a wonderful read. Ms. Monroe is one of my go to authors for Romcom, her books are always, funny, romantic and with plenty of heat.

Imagine Ivy’s surprise when she finds her hookup walking down Main Street, Milford Falls, the last man she expected to see. Learning he is intrigued by the Fortune missing gold, after finding a potential clue, they team up.

However Ivy has been burned in the past and the last thing she is looking for is a relationship. As the hunt for the treasure heats up, will it bring them together or rip them apart?

Lila Monroe delivered another sweet and steamy romantic comedy—with a dash of mystery—in The Treasure Hunt Hookup. She expertly combined the charm of a small town setting with a one-night-stand-turned-second-chance romance, and the result was a story that was equal parts heartwarming, hot as heck and hilarious. The characters were endearing, and their chemistry crackled with energy, and the witty, snappy banter was its own kind of foreplay. Lila’s plots are always so unique and fun, and she outdid herself here with the mystery-based storyline that brought an intriguing vibe to this romcom.

The Treasure Hunt Hookup was an entertaining and engrossing, and Lila’s witty writing kept me in my seat, tapping my Kindle as I devoured this book. Monroe weaves the romance and humor she’s known for with a bit of mystery and a whole lot of steam for a fun, flirty and fiery read. The Treasure Hunt Hookup by Lila Monroe gets 4.5 smooches from me!

One night when she's out on the town to meet her friend, who doesn't end up coming, she meets the mysterious Reeve, and they embark on a night of fun! Reeve is a Hollywood producer, taking a big break from life to regroup, and after meeting Ivy, she is just what he needed to relax!

Reeve is a successful director who on the advice of his agent decides to take a step back and enjoy some rest and relaxation while he decides what his next project will be which is how he finds himself in Blue Ridge. On Halloween night he shares a steamy encounter with a sexy woman however one night was not enough, so he finds himself partnering with her on a treasure hunt.

After her divorce from her cheating ex Ivy returned to Blue Ridge and now works in the museum. She is ready to move forward with her life until her ex and the treasure hunting show that he swindled her out of appears wanting to chase down her family’s history. She now finds herself chasing down a romance with Reeve as well as the missing treasure.

Reeve is both swoony and supportive and you will be invested in ensuring that Ivy bests her ex and finds the happiness that both she and Reeve deserve with each other.

The Treasure Hunt Hookup, Lila Monroe’s latest rom-com novella, is a super fun, sweet-spicy read. From the Halloween meet-cute to the delightful ending, Reeve and Ivy’s story is an engaging page-turner.

Ivy is a once-scorned, twice shy historian and Reeve is a brooding, successful film producer. While in costume and anonymously out-of-character, the sparks fly with their instant attraction. When fate and Ivy’s ex-husband throw them together again, the adventure begins and the chemistry quickly reaches the boiling point. Both of these characters are charming, and it was easy to become invested in their stories. The laughs are light in this rom-com, but there is no shortage of fun, adventure and spice.

He's Indiana Jones complete with a whip. They spend an adventurous and memorable night together. Then she ghosts on him. As with The Marriage Bargain and the Great British Bachelor Chase, Lila Monroe has penned a delightful romantic comedy surrounding to extremely likeable and charming characters. Add in a hunt for a legendary lost treasure and a conniving, competitive and philandering ex and a best friend who's both a mother hen and protector along with some quirky townsfolk and you've got a delightful story. I thoroughly enjoyed Reeve Donovan 's escapades as they chased down her family's treasure and beat the ex at his own game while falling hard and fast for one another.

When Ivy’s bestie convinces her to attend a Halloween party, and then bails, she is left wandering around alone, and she crosses paths with a sexy Indiana Jones, which leads to a spicy night together. Reeve turns out to be Ivy’s new neighbor, and he is a charming, and the hottest Hollywood director. With Ivy’s ex back in town to cause mayhem, Reeve and Ivy join forces to find the location of her grandpa Earls’ missing gold.
This is a well written humorous story, with family, friendships, intrigue, witty and flirty banter, which leads to an entertaining, and steamy small town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Lila Monroe is an author who I will read every book from, and The Treasure Hunt Hookup is one of her best!

Ivy and Reeve first meet on Halloween when she is reluctantly spending the night in costume and out on the town. They have great banter and chemistry, but she leaves before the morning. When they meet again things are awkward and get even more so when she realizes why he came to town to begin with.

Lila has done a really nice job creating fun and interesting characters with a strong connection. This rom com is engaging and entertaining with lots of humor, and it made me literally laugh out loud a number of times. There are also emotional and sweet moments that really made me root for their HEA.

You can absolutely read this book as a standalone, but every book in the series is fantastic.

Ivy Fortune is a history researcher in small town North Carolina. She’s licking her wounds after her divorce. Her ex dumped her for another woman and robbed her of the treasure hunting show that she helped make a hit. Her BFF talks her into dressing in a catsuit and wig on Halloween and going to a party in Asheville, where she hooks up with Indiana Jones.
Reeve Donovan isn’t happy about his sister and agent forcing him to take a vacation until he realizes that the woman next door to his rental is the vixen that ghosted him after their passionate hookup. When Ivy’s ex Jake, shows up to find her great grandfather’s lost treasure to save the show that’s in danger of being cancelled, Reeve decides that helping her find the treasure first would be a great way to win her heart.
I did enjoy the story but it does have a lot of typos and missing words.

Once I started reading The Treasure Hunt Hookup i didn’t want to put it down. I loved the incorporation of the family mystery of stolen gold, the smarts of trying to figure out if it exists and where it’s hidden, the competitiveness of finding it before Ivy’s smarmy ex. Reece and Ivy are explosive, funny and steamy. I live this story and the memorabilia characters.

Another amazing book from Lila. Right from the beginning I was chuckling along with the antics of Ivy & Reeve.
Their first meeting was incredible to read and I really didn’t want this part to end. But if that had actually happened, I would have missed out on how their story unfolded.
I loved the whole treasure hunting storyline. The ups and the downs and then there was the competition and rivalry with Ivy’s ex. Never had I wanted more to see a character get their comeuppance, and without giving everything away, I am excited to say I ended up one happy reader.
I enjoyed everything about this book, and knowing who will be one of the characters in the next book, I am so excited to get my hands on it

I thought this was a really cute book, it sucked me in immediately. I really enjoyed the plot, I’ve never read anything with a treasure hunt aspect to it. I really enjoyed the two main characters, I thought they were great together and as individuals. I like how there was no break up and how they compromised on their disagreement in the end. I love how opposite they were when it came to love and I love how he never gave up on his girl. The spice was really good, descriptive but not explicit and more than one scene. After their first encounter, it’s almost like a slow burn but I really enjoyed the road to get there. I really can’t wait for the next book, it sounds like it will be so fun to read. This was my first book by this author but not the last for sure.

I just love a Lila Monroe story! You get laughs, heart and heat in a funny way.

This is the story of Reeve and Ivy.

Ivy is a whip smart historian and has been burned by her ex. She wants nothing more than to save her museum and live a quiet life.

Reeve is a Hollywood hot shot, but he doesn’t take that label to heart. He has found himself in a lovely small town for a much-needed vacation.

The first time that Reeve and “Lola” meet, sparks fly aplenty. They are on fire and their one night together was epic.

The next time they meet, well it’s not a spark, but a slow burning flame that kicks off a adventure that will make you fall in love with them both!

This is a fast paced, fun story with all the hallmarks of a great Lila Monroe novel!

This was such a fun book!! It had and Emily Henry/ Ali Hazelwood feel. I love that I got it for an ARC. Ivy is rediscovering herself and her self worth after her divorce from her hot shot treasure hunter ex husband. She decided to follow her friends advice and go out and party it up for Halloween. On her way to a party she runs into a dashing stranger dressed as Indiana Jones. After an impromptu night with a stranger embracing her wilder side she sneaks out to avoid confrontation from Reeve only to find out he is the one renting her neighbors house. This book has love, treasure hunting and the story of star crossed lovers. This is a must read
