Will be reading and retreading this book for the next 6 years. My school district just adopted it for our next cycle. I'm excited about the book. It's narrative seems much more engaging for my AP US History class than our previous adoption. Additionally it is supported by a wide range of strong, eye-catching visuals (graphs, charts, photographs, paintings, political cartoons, etc.) to help draw in the attention of high school students. The big draw back for me is that it is not as comprehensive as my old text and I'm already finding places where I will need to supplement with additional readings or class activities.
