"Six Sandy Sheep" is an early reader picture book written by Judith Ross Enderle and Stephanie Gordon Tessler, and illustrated by John O'Brien. It is about six sheep at the beach and one by one they get into trouble, subtracting each at a time. The book ends extremely abrupt and without an idea to what is going on. Personally, I did not like the book at all. The story was not interesting and was not educational in the sense of learning to count. The illustrations were dark and messy, too complicated for a little child to enjoy. I would not recommend this book.

This is a simple book that starts with six sheep and each time they do something it subtracts one from the group. The pictures were a little dark in coloring. I would have liked them to be a little brighter especially since they were at the beach.

A fun children's rhyming book about 6 sheep and their adventure at the beach. My daughter really enjoyed this one. Especially the ending.

Simple rhyming book that backwards counts as sheep go into the ocean during a trip to the beach.
Good for toddler or preschool storytimes.
