With a strong focus on the importance of ethics, this leading text encourages students to develop their analytic abilities as they think critically about key concepts in interpersonal communication.
Required class textbook which, for me, seemed mostly unnecessary. It feels like a guidebook for corporate aliens who need to study how to interact with the human species, and learn their mysterious, complex ways and fit in.
I really loved this textbook. It is very easy to follow along with and most of the time you find parts of your relationships through the concepts the textbook covers. I found every chapter to be very relevant in improving one's communication. This is honestly one of the most interesting and compelling textbooks I have ever read. With all of the personal examples throughout the book, you will just find yourself laughing when you realize that exact thing has happened to you before!
