Favorite Quote: "You want to know something about men?... It doesn't take us years to decide on a woman we want to be with permanently...We make that decision in a matter of moments usually, within a meeting or two."~Adam

Right away the comfortable girlfriend relationship is clear in this book and it reminds me of myself with my own friends. Telling them the truth out of love no matter if they like it or not.

Victoria right away is one of my favorite characters because she tells it like it is and is very logical in her thought process.

This book reads like a movie in the first chapter alone and I don't want to put it down. I'm rooting for all of the ladies even if I know it may lead to some trouble as the story goes along.

I appericate the story is told from middle aged people and middle aged people with children. I don't read many romance novels that focus on that demographic.

I don't like that the cover art for the book depicts Adam as a light skin man however in the book he is described as looking like Wesley Snipes. I don't enjoy erasure, so I feel like they could have made the cartoon version of Adam as a dark skin man.

As soon as they start the psychic business, it seems that all of the ladies lives start to go into shambles and it happens quickly however in a way that seems organic and not rushed. As well as their faith seems organic when it comes into play.

As the story goes on I do believe that Nicole has some sort of other worldly knowledge even if she doesn't realize it yet.

The love that the ladies and Jojo, have for one another is beautiful to read and you can tell that they truly care for one another.

I appericate that the story bounces back and forth from the ladies to Adam. It's also seems natural how he fits into their story via his cousin who came to the "pyshic" at the ladies salon.

Adam and Nicole's first real conversation is the cutest thing to read. They are like school children who don't know which way is up.

Cecilia, Adam's, cousin is a strange woman who I can't quite put my finger on but I do know I don't like her. Also the twist that comes at the end dealing with her came out of nowhere. It was a decent twist.

I love that the last chapter is a follow up on how life has been going for the characters. It gives a nice button because I definitely wanted to read more.

Overall and nice, smooth, down home Southern read that feels you with comfort.

Although I'm not a fan of the psychic aspect of the story, I enjoyed the romance of all the characters
