Claiming they are looking for the best puppy, a boy and girl body shame a bunch of puppies for being too fat, short, shaggy, etc., but give them all participation ribbons to alleviate their trauma.

My daughter did not care for this when she was seven. Go figure.

This wasn't bad or anything, it was just not up to the other Crockett Johnson books I have read and just well, normal I guess.
An OK read but nothing special this time.
