This manual provides information about the Amiga graphics and audio hardware and about how the Amiga talks to the outside world through peripheral devices. A portion of this manual is a tutorial on writing assembly language programs to directly control the Amiga's graphics and hardware.
Of the three official Amiga reference volumes Libraries and Devices, Includes and Autodocs, and Hardware, this one was the most fun. I didn't really sit down and read any of them cover-to-cover, but referred to all of them frequently until I felt like I knew them all backwards and forwards.
