In an unusual collection of short stories, young readers encounter the ghosts of people from long ago and learn the secrets of their long-forgotten adventures
I can recall reading this book as a child and committing it's title, author, and even appearance to memory in hopes of one day owning my own copy. Though now out of print, I was lucky enough to find and purchase a copy on Amazon. Having re-read it just recently, I can honestly say these stories are just as tragic and beautiful as they were all those years ago.
This was my favorite, favorite book as a kid! I loved ghost stories and used to check this book out of the Central Elementary School library over and over again. My sister found an old copy for me a few years ago and I finally own it at age 36!
