My beautiful Sekmet has been on my Altar for quite a while. I have love for her but never completely understood her true history. Scary tales I’ve read but I know that she is more than that. This was the book I needed to read and appreciate. Thank you!
I think this book is well written with examples of personal experiences for people with the Goddess Sekhmet. I wish it had additional historical background of the Goddess added.
I loved this book. It was filled with a lot of interesting information and stories. If you have always wanted to read this book I encourage you to do so.
I found this unique anthology of Sekhmetian experiences and creations inspiring. I have visited the "Temple of Goddess Spirituality Dedicated to Sekhmet" (to give its full and proper name) in the desert north of Las Vegas (where atomic bombs were once tested), it was fascinating to experience the reactions of others who also have found this compelling, ancient Egyptian Archetype/Deity/Force of Nature/Goddess still strong and vibrantly alive in our so-called "modern" world. "Sekhmet" is, evidently, Time-less. Thank you Candace Kant and Anne Key for editing this book. And thank you, Sekhmet, for inspiring it.
Anyone who is a devotee of Sekhmet needs to read this anthology. It provides a very well-rounded representation of the Goddess we all know and love, and the stories, rituals, poems, etc. are all quite beautiful!
