This is a well researched book. It actually went into a bit too much detail, at times, for me, but, as a work of history, I think that's a good thing. Too much detail for me could be a goldmine of information for someone else. All-in-all this is a well written book about a very interesting subject. How does an idea go from being heterodox to heretical? How does a Christian academic go from being a bit heterodox on a few issues to being burned at the stake as a heretic? Read this book to find out!
