4.6/5 Picked this up in a used bookstore in New Orleans, and didn't think much of it until I read it. The themes and language in this book are the closest (that I've read) to how I attempt to achieve meaning in my own work. I was in love with the form, and how each poem seemed to be pushing up against the walls of the sonnet (and more than occasionally punching holes in it). Rabbitt to me has just the right measure of a L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poet, as a result his work is never dull to read, and doesn't ever put you out at sea.
