A very informative book about fencing, most useful for people who know very little (so, people interested in fencing or just starting out).

Good timeline in the back that shows cuts where it makes jumps.

Illustrated with photos.

I hadn't realized that women's saber was added to the Olympics so recently.

Published in 2009, so it doesn't have the famous American fencers of the past decade.

Good basic information; unusual subject matter for a kids nonfiction book. A son of hers might have been the inspiration for the book.

This is a great book, if you are wanting a more succinct, simplified explanation to fencing.
