I had never seen the cartoons by Chad Carpenter until I came to Alaska. Four of his cartoons were featured on the cover of the 2013 Rondy Guide, explaining events for the 78th Annual Fur Rendezvous here in Anchorage. I was enchanted by the cartoons, so I had to bring one of his books home.

I purchased this book at a local souvenir shop and laughed heartily at the silly antics of the hunters and fishers. I will certainly share this books with the folks back home. I think my hubby will get a kick out of it. Perhaps even my dad, too. I discovered you don't have to be a hunter and fisher to appreciate the humor! The jokes are very funny and the illustrations are wonderful.
