Rate this book
Imperial Rome saw the rise of good and bad emperors. How much do you really know about their lives?

To this day, we feel the influence of imperial Rome. After all, imperial Rome was one of the first successful “melting pots” of cultures. The Romans took what worked and discarded what didn’t work, showing that it was possible to have a stable, centralized government over an extremely large area.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I had a general knowledge about this period of Rome but never fully realized how the politics of the time influenced things.

Great introduction to Imperial Rome

This is a very easy to read introduction to Imperial Rome. For those not so interested in the finer details, this book is a great history book painted with a broad brush. Definitely recommended for the non-historians.
