I was very surprised by this book. Sometimes I wanted to give this book five stars and other times I wanted to DNF it. This book is a collection of short stories about being muslim in Denmark, and as I said before, sometimes I really enjoyed the book and I felt I learnt something. Other times I really didn’t like it. Other times I just thought some of the stories were boring. Some of them were so great that I wish the entire book was just those but longer. So overall a really good boring but good book? It was a bit confusing to read to be honest, just because some were crazy good and others not.
My three favorite short stories were:
Når fuglene faster
Pølsevognen
Matematikeren

En spændende samling essays, som beskriver hvor forskelligt livet i danske indvandrermiljøer er. Nogle historier sætter sig mere end andre, men alle bidrager til paletten af forskellighed.
