What a fascinating woman! She seemed to want to be remembered for being the friend of Radclyffe Hall but she so easily could have had her own career as a sculptor, artist and translator. She had an amazingly generous spirit and a passionate loving nature. She certainly loved Radclyffe Hall deeply but I didn't know that much about her own story. After reading about her I feel like I would have loved to have known her myself!

What an incredible woman Una Troubridge was!! She really should be better known and celebrated! Several times I became so angry with Radclyffe Hall I decided stop liking her but then I thought: if Una thought she was worth all the trouble, she must have been! So John, you are forgiven! :)

Trudged through this dry biography, but it didn't reveal much more than the other better biographies about John.
