Joseph Wortis may have been the last living analysand of Sigmund Freud at the time of his death in 1995. This account, and others like it, would be of interest to any biographer of Freud, or Wortis for that matter. The author was neither a psychoanalyst nor particularly in awe of the then elderly Freud.
It would be interesting to assemble all recollections--or, better, transcripts--of analyses by Freud in a set. Perhaps it has already been done?
