Firstly – THIS BOOK IS HOT!! THIS BOOK IS DAMN HOT!!
Secondly, I would just like to thank the author for sending me this book for review. Especially since I was so desperate to read it. Just like the first volume this was a very quick read. This book literally took me half an hour to get through.
In my review of the first book I moaned because I wanted to know what had happened between Summer and Mark. After all the build up it just seemed to end. Well! I got what I wanted! This book is damn hot (Yes I said it again). It is so rare to find an erotic novel that is so tastefully written. This book definitely gets you a little (or a lot), shall we say “up for it.”
We now get to find out all about Summers first night with Mark. (So jealous right now) She is nervous at first, but Mark soon calms her and gives her a night she will never forget. We get all the details and I defy any woman to not feel jealous, and “up for it” after reading what the two get up to. If only every woman could experience this – the world would be a much happier place.
Mark sounds delicious, I want one too. I envy Summer completely, I think she should send me my very own Mark lol.
I love this series, I really hope there will be more to follow. I can’t wait to read them.

The first story almost felt like a prequel to the main event. Volume 2 started off right where Volume 1 left off. In this book they have decided to start working through then alphabet, with A being first. What else besides Anal would A stand for?! This is one of the hottest and believable anal scenes I have read in a long time. Her nervousness and the pace that he set were all right where they needed to be. I am usually not a fan of short stories. I in the past have found that the story needed more development than the low word count could give it. That is not the case with this series. She has broken one large story, Summer's Journey into sexual enlightenment, into small installments instead of trying to compile them all into one large novel (I am guessing more stories are to come since she started going through the alphabet). I like it better that way honestly. It helps with the flow and allows her to concentrate each experience rather than trying to make them all flow together.

Phew... is it hot in here? I've read many "virgin" anal scenes, and I thought the pace of this one was great. It seemed very realistic (which I guess it should since this is true romance/erotica) and natural. Well, I guess as natural as it can be when you've handed yourself over to a guy who wants to control how things go. And the build up was smexy. Enter the hotel room with a blindfold on? It's definitely hot in here.
My only wish is that I had all of these stories together in one book. I'm not a patient person. I want to see what B is going to be... C... etc. I want to be able to finish it in one night if that was possible, lol. But no, I'll have to wait for the next ones to come out. Sigh...

Firstly I’d just like to say that I love the cover of this book. Volume 1 of Summer’s Journey gives the reader a background on the two characters, Volume 2 is the start of their journey together. I seriously enjoyed this book. Summer has so much courage, a very strong and sassy character. Mark is unbelievably thoughtful and appreciative, it’s almost like he worships Summer’s body and her courage to trust him in such a personal way. Mark and Summer are two amazing characters and they really compliment each other.

This sequel certainly quenched my thirst for the anticipation of it and then some! I liked that Summer was still in discovery and some emotional feelings were surfaced that gave her an honest vulnerability. Who knew the alphabet had such fun possibilities!

Summer's Journey takes off right where the first book ended, and readers will not be disappointed. Volume Two is called an "Alphabetical Assignation" and is the beginning of a journey for the two lovers that is sure to be one wild, sensual adventure focusing on each letter of the alphabet. Summer is meeting her new lover at a hotel, ready to relinquish control to him and nervously awaiting what is to come. Blindfolded, she narrates us through her excitement, nervousness, arousal, apprehension and finally her ecstasy.
After starting this book, I could not put it down until the very end. It is a quick read and had me hooked from the first paragraph. I can't wait to see what the next chapter in Summer's journey will bring with the letter "B." Very sensual, very hot, some romance; it's a great erotic book!

Wow I was hooked from the first page. I felt like I was reading someone's erotic journal. The story and the characters seem very real and believable. I thought the writing style was fun and easy to read. You could actually feel the connection between Summer and Mark. The Alphabet has never been more fun.
After book One you will download book Two so fast your kindle will smoke! And the journey keeps getting better, richer, more exciting. You connect, imagine, and fantasize about the characters. You won’t want to stop!

After reading volume 1 so quickly, I had to jump right into Volume 2 and it did not disappoint! Summer Daniels is a great writer! I loved how Summer was able to relinquish control and to trust especially after going through a divorce. I love most especially that Summer was able to learn a different side of herself and to truly enjoy life. I feel this shows her willingness to open herself to love again. I have already bought Volume 3 and cant wait to go through this “alphabetic” journey with Summer that is truly HOT, suspenseful and exciting!! Thank you Summer Daniels for a great read!

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to "lend" Volume 2 on my Kindle with my Amazon Prime account. For such a short novella the story definitely gets its point across. I love the fact that this is a real account of someone's life after a divorce. How many marriages are just comfortable? AND how many marriages end because they are comfortable? Summer definitely is learning that relationships can be quite different from what she experienced. Looking forward to reading Volume 3.

Another very, very, very short read. Read all 3 books in a matter of a few hours and it could have all been compiled into one book. The story is not yet complete and I look forward to the rest of the alphabet, but would rather see a complete book instead of each letter being a single release. Again it is well written and the relationship being forged has a lot of possibilities for the writer to explore.

These chap books go TOO QUICK! No sooner than I open my Kindle... I find myself 50% done! LOL! It's a good thing, though, because Summer writes in a realistic, humorous way. There is no mention of Mark putting his "length" on "her sex" like that awful 50 Shades book. Nope. Summer says what it is without holding back. That's reality, and that helps make this and her other chap books really good.

Review based on Books 1-3... I have never come across a series of books that not only made me think, and connect immediately on a reality level but laugh so hard & much... If only finding a partner was (what seemed anyway) as easy as Summer found Mr. Wonderful... I tremendously enjoy reading Summer's Journey and will follow through right to the end....

This was a quick read - it got down and dirty quick which I appreciate. This was very erotic. There was a little power exchange but no serious BDSM. Of course she was only on letter A of the alphabet! I am excited to see where this goes and look forward to going on this journey with Summer.

The first volume and this one should have been one book. I like this better than the first volume because the characters started to develop and so did the steamy scenes. I want to see how this continues...
