We've read most books in the Eagle-Eye Ernie series by Susan Pearson and Gioia Fiammenghi. We really like the stories - the children are creative and imaginative and I love that it's a mixed group of girls and boys.

This is a fun and slightly goofy story about a bunch of classroom pets and the hijinx that occur with them. While these books may have been written over twenty years ago, they are still very entertaining and we have enjoyed reading them together.
