If only I had the discernment I have today when I bought this garbage. It would have saved me $3.00 and time. But who knows how many people read this and think it's accurate?
The first problem is a book using a man's name on a perverted version of scripture and calling it the Bible. I can't even wrap my head around that kind of arrogance. Holman's Christian Standard Bible is not a book I would recommend and this "guide" has been torn apart and will be burned based on God's word. Then published by a publishing company also with the man's name attached to it.

Seven years ago I read this book and since then it has become my go to book for getting an overview of the forest. It is clearly organized and succinct. One of it best features is the one sentence summary it gives of each book of the Bible. I highly recommend this book to every one interested in reading and studying the Bible.

This gives a overview of each book and helps us to understand some of the basic historical and geographical backgrounds of the context. Easy to read and understandable through good quality images. One can see the pain that was taken by the author to make it simple but with profound input.
