[Siren Ménage Erotic Cowboy Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, light consensual BDSM]
Stacy's on the run after being assaulted. She heads to the town of Pearl as she copes with her fears from the attack. The last thing she expects to find in this storybook town filled with kind people and not-so-typical relationships is her destiny in the arms of Max and Eric Cantrell.
Eric and Max meet Stacy in the same day but at different times. Instantly they are attracted to her and feel that she may be the one they have been waiting for. Trouble is, Stacy's from New York and has a past that has her wary of men in general. But the heat between the three is out of control, and once they get a taste, Max and Eric are set on keeping her. When trouble comes looking for their woman, they're ready to fight and willing to risk everything to protect her.
There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among siblings.
People seem to be more interested in my name than where I get my ideas for my stories from. So I might as well share the story behind my name with all my readers.
My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an Irishman named Patrick Riley Dwyer. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.
Being that my momma’s families were descendents of the original English speaking southerners, they wanted the family blood line to stay pure. They were wealthy and my father’s family was poor.
Despite attempts by my grandpapa to make Patrick leave and destroy the love between them, my parents married. They recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
I am one of six children born to Patrick and Lynn Dwyer. I am a combination of both Irish and a true southern belle. With a name like Dixie Lynn Dwyer it’s no wonder why people are curious about my name.
Just as my parents had a love story of their own, I grew up intrigued by the lifestyles of others. My imagination as well as my need to stray from the straight and narrow made me into the woman I am today.
This one is the first book in this series about the town of Pearl were ménage relationships are the norm. This sound like a nice and safe place to live. Heroes are townies and the heroine moves to this town to escape a very dangerous situation with her stalker/rapist boss. The story is very good and it keeps you on your toes. I enjoyed the chemistry between all the MCs in this book. They had a blossoming relationship with some very light BDSM aspects. It's not smut heavy and has the right amount of heat. I enjoyed it surprisingly. Enjoyable but not a keeper.
* A lot of smex that I tended to skip after the first few instances, but that's just me... I read so many books that have a lot of heavy smex that it grows boring very quickly. Not much here in this dept. to light anyone's fire, but it's sweet menage smex and I like that better than bondage stuff these days. Max and Eric are very careful with the inexperienced and traumatized Stacy.
* The H's aren't too domineering, but just enough to get through to hard-case Stacy.
This should have been book 1 in The Town of Pearl series. If you read it beforeFor the Love of Anna things will flow more smoothly because all of the cowboys and town characters are in here. Unfortunately, I read For the Love of Anna a while back and I think I will re-read it now.
The downside to this manuscript were several mistakes in grammer and at least two glaring ones concerning names or descriptions. If you pay attention to the description of Barry Weiner's wife Claire in the beginning of the book and the the one about 64% through the story (I am a Kindle user) the descriptions are totally different. First she is skinny, then she is overweight and flat-chested.
Also, Stacy calls Millie's ex-boyfriend Stewart near the beginning of the story, then Millie calls him Frank at the 46% point. Small but irritating things that let me know this wasn't edited well.
The Texan-speak is pretty much right on in this book and we don't see anyone drinking hot tea and eating scones which I have seen from some non-Texas-familiar authors. ;-D It irritates me to see 'ahold' (as in 'he grabbed ahold of the bucket handle') and I would rather see just plain 'hold' in a description, but it is certainly correct to include it as Texas-speak in conversation as you will hear it from true Texans of every social level, especially in smaller towns.
I have a lot of Dixie Lynn Dwyer's books, so the mistakes don't stop me from buying her very, very good stories. I wish Siren-Bookstrand would upgrade her editor and proof-reader for her... she deserves better. And really, I find these problems in many, many books of every level of writer and all publishers, but that's why God created editors/proof-readers, lol!! The cover is yucky, too.
I am hoping there will be at least a book for Millie, and maybe for some of the other guys we met in this book. This is a case in which a long series could easily be wrtten.
I will absolutely buy this whole series. The story was so good I didn't downgrade for the mistakes, I just rarely ever give 5's.
Stacy knows that if she doesn't leave New York, her ex-boss now turned stalker, will hurt her or her friends. Fleeing to the small town of Pearl she is trying to recover from the bubble of fear she has been living in for months. She doesn't expect to encounter the sexiest cowboy she has ever met, Eric Cantrell but she has fallen for those good looks before and it ended up burning her before and she has no plans to go down that path before. A few hours later she is introduced to deputy Max Cantrell, Eric's twin brother, she knows she maybe in trouble when one is hard enough to resist but two is impossible.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, Stacy is fiesty as all get out. She has no problem standing up to Eric and Max and it adds a few surprises to the story. A book that is difficult to put down.
**I have been going back and rereading some series so I am completely caught up and this happens to be one of them. Very good story, Stacy is a handful but you gotta love Max and Eric who are trying their best to court the feisty minx.
This is a much better book than the first one. The connection between the main characters is shown and explained very well. Her resisting their friendship and their connection makes sense after the trauma she has been through, so it makes for a well developed plot.
Stacey has been sexually abused by her boss, but she got away, only for him to stalk her endlessly and really scare her. Even the evil obsession is written very well in the book.
She runs away to Pearl, and catches the attention of two brothers, Eric and Max. Despite being attracted to both of them, she is very independent and is vary to trust again. But Eric and Max know she is meant for them and they will protect, love and win Stacey back, hopefully before the stalker catches up to her.
This makes for some very sweet moments and some very very spicy.
Max, Eric and Stacy kept me glued to this story. Stacy is on the run from New York after an assault. She finds herself in the town of Pearl where she connects with Max and Eric who are drawn to her, but he is leery of men after her experience. Will they get her to open up to them and will their connection lead them to a happily ever after?
I finally finished Stacy’s Destiny for the third time and I really don’t have much to add but I do have one issue that I over looked in the past and that was the edits but they were not that bad so it wont take much away from the rating.
Original part of this review. It took me longer to read this book on the second time around, I think that was because I am reading another book at the same time and I really just wanted to savor the read this time. You know how i is, when you get into a book and you don't want put the book down or might miss something (it's almost like watching a new episode of your favorite TV show). I will most likely read this one again, I really like stories where the woman won't give up without a fight, rather than just sitting there waiting to be rescued. And Stacy sure can put up a fight :)
Stacy is physically abused, almost sexually assaulted and stalked by her crazy ass boss so her friend tricks her into going to Texas to get her out of line of fire (smart friend). In Texas she falls in love with twin brother.
In this day where sexual harassment happens daily I think it is great that a writer can put a face on it without making the woman look totally weak and defenseless. I really did like hour Stacy broke her boss' nose, to bad she could get a nut shot in as well.

I rather liked the first scene, which seemed realistic enough, dealing with institutionalized sexual harassment in the work place. I liked how the heroine tried to oppose to it, realized some of her colleagues could not be trusted. Those first 30 pages or so were rather good. It went completely downhill from there onwards unfortunately. The redhead girl followed then her friend advice and ended up in Texas, in another mythical town, where people with "alternative lifestyle" proliferate. Of course she immediately met with two brothers who knew from the first glance that she was the one for them. Then her former boss turned into a stalker, rapist, murderer, with an obsession about her. None of that felt real and there was always a new detail making it even less realistic every time he appeared. The ultimate proof was just the way he met with his maker Everything about the main characters' feelings for each other was just very generic. Even the hot scenes were very generic without anything interesting or really titillating in them. Even if this is not the worse erotica/romantica I read, I cannot see anything in there that deserves recommendation.
I liked the story. A short petite stacked meaning big breasted slim woman. Who has a big ass. Believes tthat hard work and skills will get you somewhere. she is educated and she has a grat moral compass. I do love her character. I also loved the cowboys. Ride em good girl. She is inexperienced in the sex department. That's why she attracted the phsyco. What I don't get is the first story. They're was another Eric Cantrall there attracted to Anna. And how about in a few areas where she has green eyes then they change to brown. They are not hazel where that can happen. Just needs some better editing. Good story overall.
I really enjoyed this book. I'm new to menage books and I find the relationships very interesting. Stacy is a strong character determined to protect herself and those around her. Max and Eric are alpha males to the core with a deep respect for their woman. I will deffinately read more from this author.
This was a great book but, I wished I had read it before I read "For the Love of Anna." The books are backwards. Other than that, I love the book. I love the danger and suspense that keep me hooked and I don't want to put it down until I am finished! Can't wait for the third installment in the Town of Pearl series!

READ THIS BOOK FIRST THEN "FOR THE LOVE OF ANNA". This is suppose to be 2nd book in series but is about Stacey and how she came to be in Pearl. Enjoyed book but slit is similar to Anna's book. Being petite, stunning eye and on the run from bad guys. Steamy/sexy sexplay. Great HEA but if u read them in right order u'd already know that.
I really enjoy reading Dixie Lynn Dwyer's books, and Stacy'ss Destiny was no exception. I loved the characters and there interactions. Stacy was so independent one minute then a weeping willow the next, which was a bit annoying, but it followed along with the story so was a little understandable.
This should have been the first in the series, as it gives Stacy's story and Anna goes to Stacy. in her book and she is already in a relationship with Eric and Max.
I loved how she overcame her fears and the men stood by her while she did it. It drew me in with every page and sentence.
My question is, why is this labeled the second book in " the town of pearl" ? For the love of Anna comes after Stacey meets her men not before. I guess it's a typo.
This book was recommended to me and at first I was skeptical not at all sure I'd like it but I enjoyed it. Think I.ll try some more of these menage short stories.
Stacy's boss is a first grade a$#hole. The so called work friends they were a bunch of douches. Moving on to bigger and better things, when she goes to the town of pearl.
