Collection of articles, essays, speeches and letters. High points include consideration of Trinity, historiography in Acts, and an exchange of letters with a Greek Orthodox patriarch regarding papal primacy and church as communion (rather than union). I could go for more of the "pilgrim" aspect of the title: I'm still not sure to what degree (or in what way) Ratzinger would present a history of church as dynamic and changing, like some do.
