This short book explains how families can work with their children at home "family-style," and clearly demonstrates how children can learn and grow through participating in a "lifestyle of learning,"

This book just makes me happy. I love this nice, relaxed approach to something that I could REALLY freak out over. It is nice to hear that it can be done in a relaxed way and still be good.
Brilliant, short easy to read but containing encouragement to discover your own educuational philosophy and get your priorities right, do what's best for your family and balance needs! Highly recommended
I enjoyed reading this. It is more affirmation to what we already do and that it has been done before and people can live happy, fulfilled lives after being educated this way.
A very basic, general overview of what relaxed homeschooling looks like - more geared to people beginning their homeschooling journey. A nice reminder to just relax!
I found this book really helpful. It challenges you to think about your beliefs about education and build your educational philosophy, routine, and curriculum from there. Just little bits of wisdom for the homeschooling mom whose been there. Some basic things, such as: "act, don't react," when you are in a stressful situation with the kids, just focus on what YOU should do, not the stressful things around you. Nothing too profound, but truly a helpful read for me, right now. Read again.
