I recently had the pleasure of reading the Brooks Peterson series by Quinn Marlowe and I have to say, I am hooked! The first book in the series places the reader right in the middle of a mafia family war, with Brooks Peterson fighting to save her own family from the clutches of the Massimo family.
The story follows Brooks Peterson as she tries to charm the one Massimo man she spent an unforgettable night with many years ago. Anthony Massimo is the public face of his family gathering information for his controlling and nasty uncle. Anthony despises the mob and all it entails and his uncle has a very tight reign over his life. All he wants is peace and to live far away from the violence and killings. Brooks' fiery take-charge personality and Anthony's subdued, charming demeanor create a sizzling chemistry that is a pleasure to read.
This novella is filled with action, suspense, and sexual tension that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. The author's writing style is captivating and makes it easy to get lost in the story. I particularly enjoyed Brooks' character - her strength and determination are admirable, although her actions are a little reckless at times. And let's not forget, she rides a motorcycle - how badass is that? Anthony, on the other hand, is more subdued but is not afraid to use a gun if he has to.
Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys action-packed romances. The characters are well-developed, the writing is captivating, and the story keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

A novella in the Rossi series !!!
A mafia romance about a girl without a true identity, Brooks Peterson, being in the middle of a war between the family she chose for herself (the Brennans and the Rossis) and the man she has loved for a long time, Anthony Massimo.
I think I may have developed a passion for this series that it is not normal !!! This was just a novella but added to the whole series was such an amazing piece added to the collection of this found family series with dark vibes, that are very dark but very spicy !!!
Anthony and Brooks’ tension was so thick it made me feel goosebumps !!!! I loved every second of it. And the fact that it was a novella made me only more excited about the next instalment!!!!

This is the first in a new series, and this is Brooks and Anthony’s story. These two used to be partners in crime, and one night together, and they are now enemies from rival families.
This is a well written quick read novella, which is an enemies lovers’ story, with family, friendships, rivals, secrets, suspense, danger, intrigue, emotions, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining mafia romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

A spin off from New York Rogues: Rossi’s where we find the Rossi’s still at odds with the Irish . Brooks , Sloane and Penny have the brains but the Rossi men won’t listen but they all know someone’s pulling the strings and they suspect the Massimo’s . Anthony Massimo hates the mob life but now he’s getting dragged into a war he wants no part of . I can’t wait for the next book Anthony & Brooks need their HEA .

This was a great start to Brooks and Anthony's romance. Kind of like Romeo and Juliet, their families and friends are at war but these two have been attracted to each other for years. They have some history together and seeing each other again brings the feelings back for both. Right now they have to stay away until things with their families are settled. I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

This is Brooks and Anthonys journey. They were partners in crime and became lovers but with being from two different families they are also enimies. This book had chemistry secrets friends and family. Can't wait for more

I loved this. I need to read the next. 😭😭😭 idk how but this gave me enough to really get into the characters while also NOT giving me enough in that I need to see these two characters together more 🥺😭😭😭❤️

I absolutely loved this quick read! What a fantastic start to Brooks and Anthony journey. There's danger, suspense, action, and intrigue. I was drawn in right from the start. I can't wait for more!! This my first read by Quinn Marlowe and it definitely won't be my last!
