Well writen

The book was very long. I had high hopes as I thought it would be based in greece. I did persevere hoping the story line would improve. I can one day that I enjoyed the end of the book only to find that there wasn't really an end. So all in all disappointing

I would have given this five stars if it wasn't for all the unanswered themes. Just how did Leon make his money? Was it straightforward good business or something dodgy? (I fear the latter). What happened to Nikos at the end?
I felt the ending of the book was far too rushed and inconclusive. Other than that, a good storyline apart from getting really annoyed with the main female character (can't even remember her name now!)

Engaging

This is my second novel from this author and I enjoyed it more than the first. There is a good pace and some suspense. The locations are diverse- English wind swept seaside, London at the time of the Coronation of QE2, and a house on a Greek Island.

A love story with twists

Enjoyed the tale, the different locations and how they all played a part in the story from the simple life on the island to the opulence of London and this was mirrored I the men loved.

Even though I found this novel very disturbing, I have given it four stars. The writing itself deserved that. The author is an excellent story teller. Her characters are well drawn, the settings are wonderfully described, and the plot flows beautifully.

However the actually story line I found very upsetting and I can't say I really enjoyed it.
