Sites like Amazon have a "like" button for their products now...They need a "this is the worse book I've ever read" button as well for their e-book products. There is so much wrong with this book that I am not sure I can adequately articulate the wrongness of the book. The words "stupid" and "trite" come to mind. This whole book was Out of Control. I guess the author thought she was bringing hotness to a shifter story........but no........a big NO! Five men and one woman. Jade is childish and immature and the men are undersexed bullies. Chapter numbers is just fine...but no, Ms. Hillman thought that she would make the book hotter by having chapter headers such as "Ouch", "My Body, My Rules","Three for the Price of One."

Oh, and let's not forget to mention her inner monologue with her lionness. The only thing that kept the voice of the lionness in check was blood and sex and lots of it in various forms. I was so turned off by the time I reached that this point in the book that I was almost numb by the over the topness of the book.

This book was really bad and is being deleted from my Kindle as I type this review. Some authors feel the need to go over the top with their stories and Ms. Hillman, you went over the top by many miles. Keep it simple next time.

This was awful. Much of the backstory wasn't explained and I kept waiting for an explanation for WHY Jade didn't like the sex so much and what happened to her while she was away. I was disappointed. This could have been done better, in fact it has been done better by other authors who you'd be much happier reading. Also with the amount of enjoyment the heroine gets? Many of the sex scenes hinted at borderline non-consent and not in any way that's even remotely appealing. It read more like it was written by someone with only a vague understanding of sex.

BDSM and discipline was thrown in as an afterthought, as was the fact that she was a BBW. When you have 5 love interests much more story is required. I'm never reading anything from this author again.

A quick read but a good one. I liked that the main female Jade was a BBW who didn't once in the story try to change for the guys. I think too often that's a plotline thrown into Rubenesque books that makes no sense whatsoever. I did think the five to one ratio was a tad odd, I'm not going to lie... I put it aside though and just enjoyed the ride instead of asking why. As always, I would have enjoyed more story, more plot etc. since I can't seem to write short pieces, but I'm trying really hard to get a hang of this whole short book phenom going on. :)

I just finished reading this...and I find myself wondering what the hell just happened?? This was horrible!! I understand the author was going for a hot shifter story but it ended up being five guys being jackasses and one woman who liked it one second and didn't the next. There was absolutely no story line and nothing was explained. I felt like I came in at the end of a book and missed what the hell was going on. To top it off the sex scenes (which was basically the whole story) were not worth shit. I can not even rate this book because I can't get past the fact I actually read it.
