Atlas of British History
Hardcover reprint edition (of a work originally published under the British History Atlas, in Great Britain in 1968), Dorset Press, NY, 118 pages. This is one in a most impressive series of volumes containing over 100 readable b&w maps, designed by cartographer, Arthur Banks. In this particular case, we have British history from 50 BC to the present, with specific maps detailing key moments, battles, and much more, throughout the pages. The well drawn maps include "social, religious and economic development, as well as major wars, expansions, alliances, and growth of such concepts as trade, transportation, agriculture and industry." Really well done title.
