1. No awards 2. Kindergarten to 3rd grade 3. This book tells the story of Mrs. Carson’s class talent show. Keesha, one of the students had no idea what to do for the show. Her friend Pam helped her come up with ideas and they decided Keesha would tell a joke. When the time came for Keesha to come on stage she felt sick and had stage fright. Luckily, her teacher let her be a part of the show but instead she would be working backstage! In the end she realizes it actually isn’t bad being up on stage. 4. I really enjoyed this book because it is so relatable! I hate presenting or getting up in front of a big crowd. I also really liked that this book had “take turn pages” with longer passages on the left for parents to read and shorter passages on the right page for children to read. 5. Have a talent show in class, write how you would feel if you were in Keesha’s shoes
