Brooke: Not everything in life is supposed to be beautiful or long-lasting. I truly believe that we don’t meet people by accident—they come into our lives for a reason.
Although things were definitely changing for the worst in my marriage, I still thought Jake was the person I was going to grow old with. I had no idea he was only there to play a small part in the greater picture, because my destiny lay elsewhere.
Through my husband’s betrayal, life would lead me on the path to him—Logan Cavanagh. A gorgeous, captivating, successful Lawyer, and also the unlikely hero in my story … a man who would touch my heart so deeply, I knew I’d never be the same again.
Logan: From the moment I laid eyes on Brooke, I wanted her, but there was one problem … she was married to someone else, and I’d never come between a man and his wife.
When her life started to unravel, I was there to help pick up the pieces. I knew going in she was never mine to keep, so when she walked away, there was nothing I could do to stop her. I honestly thought it was the end … that I’d never see her again.
But months later, fate had us crossing paths again and her situation had now changed, so the gloves were coming off. I was all in, and there was no way I was letting her go a second time.

Been waiting on these books! Can’t wait to tuck into finding forever! Well done Jodi! Absolutely loved it!
I absolutely loved this book !!...J.L.Perty brought these characters to life !! You literally become part of the story. What a great read this was. The sequel was awesome as well and I've bought the other books in this series as well. Can't wait to fall in love with the next set of characters..🌹...hats off to you J.L. Perry...you are indeed a master..💞
1. I hate book blurbs that are deliberately misleading. This was not a “second chance” romance; Brooke and Logan had met before, but they had never been together. 2. Yeah, Brooke just had abdominal surgery the day before. She’s not going to be wearing tight jeans. 🙄 3. I think this book was supposed to be suspenseful but since we knew who was stalking Brooke right from the start, it just wasn’t.

Having read a few books by J.L. Perry before I knew that I would enjoy what I was going to read. However, I didn't realise how much.
Logan is a great character and a character we see authors write about a lot in billionaire romance books. But what I didn't expect is the emotion and feelings I got from reading him. How loving and kind he was to everyone around him. Normally they are stone faced except to their mum and love interest. Not the case here.
Brooke stole the show for me. How she loved this man, or Hot Stuff in her words so much. Everything she went through tugged at my heart strings. She is such a fighter. I'm glad she had Logan there for her.
One of the other things I liked about the way J.L. Perry wrote this story is that she didn't drag out some of the scenes. When reading the story I was like. Oh, it must be near the end now that has happened (sorry, no spoilers). How wrong was I, I was only halfway through it with so much more to give.
I received an ARC for my honest opinion on this book.
First of all I have to say I really did like this story but I thought it went very fast paced at the start and I'm more of a slow burn relationship girly, but I still loved seeing them fall so in love with eachother.
Logan wasn't like your typical Billionaire you normally read about where they are closed off to everybody but the FMC and a small nit of people, he was a really lovely, bubbly and compassionate guy, I loved him.
Brooke was a beautiful character who had a rough time with losing her mum at a young age and then the Ex being an asshat. She was such a strong person and I loved her.
The ex drama was really good, Jake was a nasty piece of work. The whole long lost dad aspect of this story was truly touching and heartbreaking.
Bring on book 2!

I will admit, I’ve avoided reading this book, after reading the original which is one of my favourite books of all time I was worried that Jodi could destroy the book with the changes. I shouldn’t have been worried. J.L Perry has absolutely blew any book I’ve ever read so far down the favourite list with finding him (including the original). I laughed, I cried, I screamed, my heart broke and to be honest I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again. Never has a book touched me so deeply as finding him. I felt Brooke’s situation so deeply it touched me to the core. Brooke is the strongest woman I’ve ever had the pleasure to read about. Logan will forever be my number one book boyfriend. His understanding and patience is unbelievable. If you haven’t please do yourself a favour and read Finding him, you won’t regret it!
Oohh, a new couple, Brooke and Logan to fall in love with. Logan and Brooke's first meet was a little bumpy for many reasons and now Logan is taking his shot. I love that Brooke is strong and doesn't let circumstances get her down. There is a romantic suspense element that proves that Logan will go to all lengths to protect Brooke. Together they bring the spicy level to a high medium. Can't wait for the next book.
“You deserve all the beautiful things,” he whispers into my ear. “I’d give you the world if only you’d let me.”~Logan
I have to be honest and declare that I would read Jodi Perry’s shopping list. She’s definitely my go to author when I want to read something with all the feels.
Finding Him is a beautifully crafted love story, packed with heartbreak, passion and hope.
Jodi Perry’s characters are masterfully crafted, with real flaws and every emotion, making this book really hard to put down.
Brooke and Logan will definitely leave you wanting more and I can’t wait to dive into Finding Forever - Book 2 in this three book series.
This is the first I’ve read from this author, but I enjoyed every minute of this book. Logan and Brooke’s story was unique to anything I’ve ever read and it had me feeling so many things the entire time.
When they met they weren’t meant to be together yet, but fate was on their side and brought them back together. I won’t give too much away because you need to read this to find out for yourself, but this was absolutely amazing.
I stayed up WAY too late reading this, but I’m ready to dive into the next.
This started really well and I loved the two main characters. However I felt like the middle of the book was surprisingly slow and up until the kidnapping I was getting bored. I also felt like the prolonged periods of Brooke just getting one knock after another was annoying and I thought at that point , when her face was slapped by Logan's aunt she should have given up the ghost. I was frustrated with the cliff hanger as I don't really see where the characters and plot development could go.
This is the 3rd book I have read by this author and I am addicted. The stories flow and I visualise the story being a movie or a mini series. Once you start reading you never want to stop. I loved this book with Logan and Brooke and how they came together. Logan is possessive but oh my I so want a Logan, you can’t help want him to be yours. This book ended on a cliffhanger and I am dying to start reading book 2. I normally like mafia books but I am not disappointed with this book at all.
The storyline had me hooked. The characters I loved, they just felt so natural to me. The way they reacted to situations were so natural and true to life. Everything was written so well and with such sensitivity, but without being overly dramatic. The characters and writing had such depth.
There were so many emotive moments that had me in tears, but there were witty moments as well to balance it all out. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I can’t wait to read the next book.
I enjoyed reading this book as it was more of a comfort read. It encompasses elements that are commonly seen within romance books so reading it felt easy, the story flowed and the ending was as predictable as they always are! I did like the concept of the book as I wasn’t expecting it to go the way that it did from initially reading the blurb. It kept me interested and encapsulated, making me finish it only within a few days. So yes, even though it wasn’t the most original story, I will probably read the others in the series!
A beautiful love story full of heartbreak and hope. Brooke has been betrayed by the man she stopped her own dreams for, her husband. When he betrays her beyond forgiveness, she flees.
A chance encounter with her husbands boss sees her seeking solace and protection while she mends her broken heart and begins to chase her dreams.
A great first book in what I’m sure will be a fantastic series! This book will leave you swooning and wanting your very own Logan Cavanagh 💖.
What can I say other then where can I find my own Logan Cavanagh.
Brooke meets Logan at a time where she is still married to her husband and it was just in time for Logan to help Brooke in a time of need . After fleeing from her husband too safety, months later Brooke runs into a Logan again and this is where their story starts. Page turning action that keeps you invested. Little twists that you don’t see coming. Great job and I can’t wait for the next one
i will say ...like some folks say ...give it a minute before you walk away ...the beginning kind of is slow ... great ending!! that is a high 4-star rating for me because of the ending. nice read. enjoy the characters. we all need friends (man included) who has our back and will cheer us on ... encourage, help out, love us, all those great emotions and feels. will read more ...i think i have read books from J.L. Perry before??! gotta see??!
I enjoyed this book. I particularly enjoyed the fact that neither of Logan nor Brooke were idiots. So many books, both parties are idiots who don’t communicate and cause all of their own problems. And addiction is real. So the situation with Jake was hard to read but all of this could have happened. On to #2.
Obviously, the connection with her Dad was a tad unrealistic, but these days… who knows?! I just loved the fact that I could relate to everyone on the book… which makes a change
What can I say about this book wow the things that happen keeps you reading. Was hard to stop when needed sleep Logan is just so perfect, as a partner and a boss. Brooke is so down to earth and humble that you just want good things for her, her life not been easy. Once you start reading you won't be able to put this book down another great book from a fantastic author.
Oh, what a night a company Christmas party and a chance encounter turn into. Wowzers, this story is packed to the max with twists and turns. Logan and Brooke sure have a lot of obstacles to navigate, but I enjoyed watching them find their way together. Can’t wait for book two and see what the future holds for these two.
Logan and Brooke have both been hurt by love and decided they don’t need it in their lives. When these two broken souls find each other their broken pieces fit perfectly. Logan is the perfect sensitive, sexy man for Brooke's whimsical, artistic, dancing heart. Logan’s view on jogging is hilarious. Perry gives us all the feels and heat in Finding Him.
It’s been awhile since I read this book when it originally came out. Still as good as the original I couldn’t pick up on anything that was different. Same story as before. Look forward to reading book 2. If it your first time reading this then you will be blown away. Have always loved theses 2. Hope you all enjoy. Thanks B.L.D.U
Logan and Brooke are such opposites but they fit , I loved the chance life gives them meeting again even with the twists and turns, and action your caught off guard not expecting it and I loved that. These two are beautiful. This is written so well I love the Authors stories they just pop and come to life right off the pages and make you feel.
This story had me right from the beginning. The way Brooke and Logan meet and the events after that kept me turning the pages.
I did not realise this was a duet and prefer to know that before starting a book. Even though it was book 1, I didn't realise book 2 was the second part of a duet.
this is a duet but no where in its description is that mentioned. 444 pages and then another 300+?
While I enjoyed the 1st part, more than once I noticed there was a bit more than I care for repetition and bits that just weren’t necessary and now another book to finish the whole story.
I really enjoy stories that sweep you away. Finding Him by JL Perry is one of those books that you can’t put down. I finished it in one night. Logan and Brooke are my favourite characters ever - that is until I read the next book in the series :-)
Would not have read this if I had known this was book one of a series but it’s a good book. I probably won’t read the rest of the books in the series because after book one about the same couple I lose interest.
First book by this author and what a book it was. Loved the whole story from beginning to end ,the love Logan has for Brooke is amazing. You can feel the emotion as you're reading . Well worth 5*
