Love by Numbers 2 #4

5 Country Singers' Betrothed

Rate this book
Working on a ranch with my enigmatic childhood crush has never been more complicated, especially when I find myself falling for his four smokin' hot bandmates too.

After my disastrous breakup with a music producer who thinks he's the king of the world, I vow to never let another man control me. But when my record label offers me the chance to work with a rising country band in my hometown, my resolve is put to the test.

I went back to my hometown and reunited with Ryder, my childhood best friend's brother. Ryder is still the passionate artist I remember, and the man I've always had a thing for. He left after that sinful night, and we haven't spoken since. As we worked on the single together, our chemistry ignited like a wildfire.

But here's the Ryder is already in a relationship with another woman. It feels like we have some unfinished business between us, and the thought of a second chance with him has left me feeling achy and needy.

And then there are his bandmates, each offering something different….
Wyatt , with smoldering eyes and rough hands, has a primal edge that leaves me yearning for his touch.
Carson , the charismatic bad boy, has a way with words that leaves me breathless.
Jesse , the devoted single father with rock-hard abs, inspires me with his selflessness and passion.
And then there's Amos , the laid-back lead singer, whose playful nature and sensual voice have me falling under his spell.

Put them all together, and my body is on fire. The thought of experiencing them all at once has my heart racing with excitement - and my imagination running wild.

But my heart is torn in a million directions. I don't know where I belong.
The thought of leaving the these five captivating men behind is unbearable, but I have a life back in the city.
And the more I indulge in this fantasy, the harder it becomes to ignore the painful Ryder is already with someone else, and I am just a temporary guest on their ranch.

Can I really have it all - the music and the love, the city and the countryside - or is this just a fleeting moment of passion and desire?

Returning Home Again

Well, after taking a moment to fan myself, I can easily say that was a fun read. No forced drama and a plausible storyline.

I like how Delilah Harrington gets in over her head with Amos, Carson Coolidge, Jesse Dean, Wyatt, and Ryder Overton. In addition to the chemistry and sharing of secrets and past hurts, I appreciate that there wasn't any cheating.

On that note, I really like the fact that one guy, Ryder, had a relationship that required sorting out before he would pursue anything with Delilah.

How did I end up working with so many intriguing men? And why couldn’t I maintain platonic feelings for them? It would be so much easier if I could work with them without noting how handsome they looked, how alluring it was to watch their fingers move, or how any touch of theirs made my skin tingle.
-- Delilah Harrington

I like that Delilah has a praise kink that the guys use to their advantage. Delightfully so. 🍆❤🍆🔥🍆🍑🍆💥🍆

I was left curious about the families of everyone, especially Delilah, Ryder, and Amos who are local. The ranch was turned over to Ryder (no indication that death was the reason). I get that Delilah didn't have a good relationship with her parents, but no run-ins in a small town? Possible but unlikely. And Amos is a bit of a mystery.

I think this is my second favorite in the series, with the bi elements of the first book edging out this one. Two and five seem to be good... Mmmhmm... numbers for men in Nicole's books. 😏

The connections between the books, especially this one, are minor. Each book can easily be read separately.

I think this should have a different title because the title already tells us how it ends. Also, they aren't even 5 country singers. Delilah is a country singer. Amos and the Collectibles is a band composed of a drummer, bassist, 2 guitarists, and a lead vocalist.

Title aside, the budding romance in the story is sweet and there really isn't much conflict except for the unrequited emotions between Ryder and Delilah that took very long to get addressed.

This is not my favorite story in this series but it is good enough. I'd call it light reading.

Sweet and steamy read.

I enjoyed Delilah’s story about making music and building a connection with Ryder, her first love and first heartbreak, and his band mates Carson, Jesse, Wyatt and Amos. The men were sweet and swoony, but also steamy and strong, each with their own distinct personality. The inclusion of a little from each man’s POV really helped to round out the story, told mainly from Delilah’s perspective, and the sweet epilogue brought a lovely HEA.

Wonderful story.
When Delilah left Chalice Falls to pursue her singing career she also tried to heal her broken heart after the love of her life Ryder just disappeared. So when her manager asks her to record a new song with a band back in Chalice Falls Ryder's band she doesn't know if she can face him again. Agreeing to do the song with the guys meeting Ryder again brings back all the pain she felt but also how she still loves him although they both act as if nothing ever happed. However she thinks the guys Amos, Jesse, Carson & Wyatt are all amazing & the feel the same with mega sexual chemistry going on & they can't help but act on it but they also have an emotional connection between them all of them aswell but Delilah is still wary of Ryder especially as he's got a girlfriend now but also what will happen when she has to go back to New York. During the recording of the song they all become like a family & Ryder tells her about why he left her but just as everything seemed to be falling in place between them something happens to make her think she's been lied to & runs away. They guys are all worried not knowing where she's gone or why she's left but when Ryder realises what happened he & the guys go to find her hoping it's not too late for them to tell her how they feel & want her in their lives. There's sass, fun, steam but also a bit emotional at times & I couldn't put it down needing to know it's not too late for them.
I loved how we got to see Emery's relationship involved in this as well & can't wait for the next book.

Thank you to Booksprout for the ARC!

I loved this one! Growing up and living in a small town in the Midwest, I'm so soft for small town romances. I'm also a big fan of country music so this one was hitting all the right notes for me (pun totally intended!)

My favourite part about this entire book is that Nicole gave them all real, traumatic baggage. Every one of the guys and Delilah had actual baggage and issues in their past that affected how they attempted their relationships and I loved that. It made them so much more down-to-Earth and relatable; they felt human and realistic in a way that other characters in this series haven't. I was able to connect with them a lot more and really dig into their characters.

My one issue that I did have was keeping track of time. I struggled with understanding how much time had passed throughout the book. This was especially noticeable to me with Brianna's visit. When she first spoke with Ryder, she was coming that weekend but it took ages for her and Delilah to interact. It seemed like it was weeks later when Brianna actually came to visit, or maybe I just marked time wrong. The timeline just seemed really confusing to me and it threw the pacing of the book off a little for me.

Even with that, this book was really good to me. It was easy to read despite the timing issues, and I enjoyed the change of pace. It was fun to slow things down and lean into the music industry and small town living. I can't wait to see where the next one will take me!

When Life Gives You More Than You Expect -
When Delilah left her hometown, she swore never return after her best friend’s brother, Ryder broke her heart. For this reason, she was apprehensive about her record label’s proposal for her to go back and work with Ryder and his bandmates, Wyatt, Carson, Jesse and Amos on a new song. She agreed to the offer when she realised the benefit of the collaboration, but what she did expect, was the return of her feelings towards Ryder, as well as the attraction she felt between herself and the other four bandmates.

Unfortunately, Ryder was in a relationship when she arrived and she tried to maintain her distance. Ryder also tried everything within his power to maintain a platonic relationship with Delilah, but he realised he was fighting a losing battle, as he saw her get closer with the other members of the band. Everything came to a head after a misunderstanding caused Delilah to run, but the guys went after her and declare their love for her and offer her a forever happiness with all of them.

This is the perfect book to take with you whilst relaxing on the beach or by the pool with a cool drink or curled up at home with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. It was a worthwhile read, that I couldn’t put down once I started reading it.

Delilah has a disastrous breakup with a music producer. He only wanted to be with Delilah for her fame and the money he could make off of her. Her record label wants her to go back to her hometown Chalice Falls and create a new song with an up and coming country band. It turns out that Ryder, the brother of her childhood best friend, is in the band.

Delilah has always had a crush on Ryder and the night of her 18th birthday party at his family’s ranch, they had sex and it was amazing. The next morning, Ryder was gone and Delilah didn’t see him before heading to New York to pursue her music career.

Delilah finds herself attracted to all the members of the band. Ryder is of course, her first crush but he has a girlfriend. Carson is the charismatic bad boy. Jesse is the devoted single father with rock hard abs. Wyatt has smoldering eyes and rough hands and Amos is the laid back lead singer.

What happens when Delilah has special personal moments with each of the band members? What happens when she finds out why Ryder disappeared after their special night when she was 18: What happens when they are done creating the song? Will Delilah go back to New York or will the guys convince her to stay in Chalice Falls?.

I absolutely loved this fourth book in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and what they brought out in the story itself. This story begins with Delilah who is a country singer who has made it as far as she has wanted in her music career. She is approached by the executive director of the label she signed with to do a collaboration with an up and coming band, when she does some research, she discovers, that her ex-crush who she had loved all through high school, and was her best friends, brother.

Ryder and his band mates, Amos, Jesse, Wyatt and Carson. Ryder had asked Delilah‘s label if she would sing with them. When Delilah went back to her hometown again to meet the band, she didn’t realise that she would develop feelings for all of them, there were a lot of feelings between each of them, and especially with Ryder, it is all challenging for her and they eventually have a happily ever after.

This hot and steamy series continues with Delilah, Emery's best friend. Delilah is living her life in the spotlight being a popular country music singer in New York. While dealing with a devastating revelation, her record label sends her back to her hometown to record a song with her childhood crush and the first one to break her heart, Ryder, and his smokin' hot mates Amos, Carson, Jesse and Wyatt. Tensions soar as there is unfinished business between Delilah and Ryder, not to mention she is as attracted to Amos, Carson, Jesse and Wyatt as they are to her. Will the past blow up in their faces or will Delilah and Ryder be able to move past the heartbreak from years before and make an incredible song? What happens when Delilah starts exploring her feelings and connections with all the other guys? Absolutely love this series and can't wait to read the next installment!!!.

She’ll reconnect with Ryder that she had a relationship when she was younger. He did her wrong the way he left. But we get more with this storyline and all the band members that fall for her. "Five Country Singers' Betrothed" is a romance novel written by Nicole Casey and is the fourth book in the Love by Numbers 2 series. The book centers around five male country singers and the woman they fall in love with.

The book is well-written and engaging, with likable characters and a heartwarming story. There is a lot of chemistry between the main characters and of course some hot steamy scenes. The book also touches on themes of friendship, loyalty, and family. The characters are well-developed, with distinct personalities.
If you're looking for a fun and entertaining romance novel to read, then this book is definitely worth checking out.

Country singer Delilah (h) finds herself returning to the small town she grew- up in when her record company wants her to record a song with an up-and-coming band. Ryder (H), her best friend’s brother and the crush who broke her heart, plays in the band and she feels a connection to him despite his now having a girlfriend. As Delilah spends time getting to know the other bandmates, Wyatt (H), Amos (H), Carson (H), and Hesse (H), things heat up with each of them. But as their song nears completion, Delilah will have to choose what she wants for her future. High heat RH with an HEA. The fun keeps going in the Love by Numbers 2 series as the books start counting up.

This book is awesome! Delilah heads back to her small town and the one that broke her heart to record a new country single with a local band. I love how her relationship with each guy develops as their story unfolds. Ryder, the one that broke her heart, has some soul searching and some important decisions to make but, just like the rest of the band, he realizes just how special and worth it Delilah is. A misunderstanding will send her back to New York but I love the way the guys go after her and make her see just what she means to them.

Making beautiful music together

Five Country Singers' Betrothed is the fourth book in the Love by Numbers 2 series. The story finds Delilah heading back to her hometown to collaborate with a local band and ends up finding a lifetime of collaboration. The band consists of Ryder, Amos, Carson, Jesse and Wyatt, each with their own passions and personalities. When you combine them all together things are about to get very hot and passionate, whether they are in the recording studio or the bedroom.
This is a fun, passionate and entertaining story that definitely has some drama, romance, love, and smexy hotness.

The love of Delilah's life just left. She was devastated. She continued on with her life and made a name for herself in the music industry. When she is asked to create a hit single with the one that ghosted her, she figured it was time to find out what happen so she could let it go. She ended up realizing that she had never stopped loving Ryder and she may just fall for his four band mates.

I loved reading about the sweet things that each of them did to make Delilah feel like the only one in the world.

Hot and steamy reverse harem read!!

This was a good read, with insta-attraction and love. All the characters were likable and I wish their was more in depth conversation with all the male characters, great what was there but I want more!!! The storyline flowed well and you don't want to put this book down as you keep wanting to see what happens. This book is not for those that are looking for something believable or in depth. This is a nice easy read, with steam, love, and a happy ever after!!.

This was a really good book. I really liked Delilah and her guys. Delilah has been struggling after a bad break up but now she has a chance to see her first love again. These 6 have an undeniable connection and chemistry throughout the book. There is a little bit of drama but a lot of feels that will have hooked to see what happens next. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Nicole has in store for us next.

Getting In Tune With Their Hearts Desire

I love the RH stories in this series, and this one was a fabulous addition. A wonderful mix of a second chance love story, but mixed with new relationships with 4 awesome guys. I loved seeing the FMC, Delilah, realistically build and rebuild relationships with her 5 guys. There were definitely some ups and downs, but their HEA was totally worth the read. Can’t wait for the next group of guys and their lucky lady ❤️

Signing a love song

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about the tangled affair of feelings between Delilah, Ryder, Carson, Amos, Jesse and Wyatt. They guys are also known as the band Amos and the Collectibles. Delilah grew up with Ryder, he's her bff's older brother. So she heads home to record a song that might change their lives. Ryder fights his attraction to Delilah but when he sees the spark between them all, it could change everything.

This is book four in the Love by numbers 2 series. Delilah hesitates to return to her home town where her ex-boyfriend lives. Turns out he had a good reason for what he did years before. She meets with him and his sexy band members. All of them have difficult pasts but she finds herself drawn to each of them. With such different lives, how could she possibly make it work? Always enjoy books from this author. Look forward to more.

This was way more heartfelt than I was expecting and I am so happy that was the case. When it’s a RH with five guys it can be all about the spice, but Casey really worked hard on making a strong connection between Delilah and each of the guys. There definitely were some “fun” times to be had but what I loved most is the support everyone shared, and they all became the best versions of themselves. I don’t know if I’m doing a good job explaining myself, so overall I’ll say this book was great. Well worth the read.

After a bad break up country singer Delilah is sent by her record company to her hometown to record with a local band. Imagine her surprise when one of the band members is Ryan her best friend's brother. When Delilah meets the rest of the band she connects with them all and sparks are flying everywhere in this steamy reverse harem. Five Country Singers’ Betrothed is such a great read. Delilah is a sweet but recently heartbroken country star who is reluctantly sent back to her hometown to record a song with an up and coming band…one of the members is her first love. Let the awkwardness, old feelings, new feelings and chemistry begin. All of the band members, Ryder, Amos, Carson, Wyatt and Jesse offer Delilah something she didn’t know she was missing and let her see how special her hometown Chalice Falls is. I could’ve read this in one sitting but I took my time so that I could enjoy these characters.

However the icing on the cake was reconnecting with Ryder again and their love was still strong. Ryder had to let go of his current girlfriend but both were okay with it. I like how their dreams came together and especially how they work out their marriage.
