A detailed study of the proportions of the Giza pyramids and how they reveal shifts in the Earth’s axis in the remote past—and near future
• Debunks the “pyramids as tombs” theory and shows how they are “recovery vaults” to ensure the rebirth of civilization after a global disaster
• Explains in detail how the angles and geometry of the Great Pyramid record a shift of the world’s axis in 3980 BCE and predict more to come
• Uncovers the location of an additional as-yet-undiscovered “recovery vault” on the Giza plateau, as revealed in the myth of Osiris
Offering a radical new perspective on the Great Pyramid of Giza and all the structures surrounding it, including the Sphinx, Scott Creighton and Gary Osborn show how the designers of Giza intentionally arranged these massive structures to create an astronomical timeline recording catastrophic events in the past as well as warning later generations of the precise times of future catastrophes. They reveal how the Old Kingdom pyramids of Giza were created, not as tombs for the pharaohs and their queens, but as “recovery vaults” to ensure the rebirth of the Kingdom of Egypt after a global disaster by acting as storehouses for ancient Egyptian culture--its tools, seeds, art, and sacred texts.
Through the use of photos, maps, and diagrams of the Giza plateau, the authors explain in detail how the angles and geometry of the Great Pyramid align with the stars of Orion’s Belt to encode an important message: that changes in the tilt of the world’s axis have occurred in the remote past, most recently in 3980 BCE, and will occur again in the near future. Highlighting the ubiquitous appearance of 23.5-degree angles--the most important of the precessional angles encoded in the Giza pyramids--in classic works of art, including the work of Leonardo da Vinci and portraits of John the Baptist and George Washington, the authors reveal how this angle, the Great Pyramid, and its fateful message are tied to Freemasonry and other secret societies. Concluding with the remarkable revelation triggered by the myth of Osiris that there may be an as-yet-undiscovered 14th “recovery vault” on the Giza plateau, Creighton and Osborn show that the prophecy of Giza is a message of first importance to our own civilization.
As someone who has spent countless hours reading lengthy volumes about ancient Egyptian culture, watching most if not all of the televised documentaries about this great past civilization, and has subscriptions to magazines that publish "new" findings in regards to what this influential culture has left for us, I have always been left with a feeling of great emptiness and disappointment. I have realized that most of the information out there is simply regurgitating hundred(s) years old academic theory, with the new eyes and fresh minds in the field simply placating the scholarly masters, likely in waiting for the holy grail of tenure to continue this facade of "new" investigation and research.
I have never been able to accept the "pyramids as tombs" theory. These majestic monuments of human achievement reach out like a beacon, visible from miles around enticing people to investigate their wonder of tremendous size, mysteriously unadorned walls, cryptic layout inside and on the ground, and questionable historicity. It seems highly unlikely that a pharaoh would contract for the construction of such a wildly obvious artificial structure to house his immortal remains and burial treasure, expecting future generations of citizenry to respect his religious view that the protection of his body was necessary for the progress of the land, refraining from looting the structure for its riches. A pyramid as a tomb would be a great folly, a grand "X marks the spot" advertising the location of untold wealth to those who breach the great edifice. It is completely illogical that a civilization capable of building such monuments would stoop to a level of such foolishness.
A few months ago, while contemplating what these structures must have been originally designed for, I remembered a logo from my childhood. It is the old Civil Defense logo, the triangle (pyramid) enclosed in a circle. It was an interesting thought, could the pyramids have been constructed for visibility and stability to serve as a beacon of safety or defense? Could they have been the ancient prototype of a civil defense structure, preparing for some long ago emergency management situation that has been lost to us except in the myths and legends of that long lost time? The idea inspired me to investigate if others had reached any type of similar conclusion. That is where this book comes in.
The authors of this book have compiled a treasure trove of reinterpreted research, which provides the sort of reasoning and logic behind these age old structures that has been sorely missing for generations. They provide the spark that fresh minds and new eyes contribute to the misunderstood history of this great culture, allowing readers to follow the evidence as they build their case to a satisfying crescendo of logical theory. It is a comprehensive examination through symbology, myth, history, astronomy, architecture, archaeology, and geometry that culminates into a purpose for the pyramids. It removes the assumption that the ancient Egyptians were a primitive, superstitious culture (without the knowledge or tools necessary to build these magnificent monuments that somehow still managed to build themselves and survive to this day). I recommend this title highly to anyone with any genuine interest in human history. It is a compelling work and the pages pass effortlessly as new connections are made and more unfold.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I do find the connections of ancient Egyptian symbolism as used by more modern "secret" societies interesting. These symbols have been injected thoroughly into our modern culture inspiring emotional and sensory responses most of us are still unaware of. I am not going to make any assumptions as to what these fraternities may or may not know in regards to any ancient secret knowledge. The theme is persistent, however, that these symbols encode information that can only be interpreted by the initiated, that they hide a higher degree of knowledge not available to the masses. In regards to this, understanding the theory of the Orion correlation to the pyramids at Giza is helpful when reading this book. The book that explores this theory by Robert Bauval is recommended. The ancient Egyptians communicated in symbols, not words, and there is much to be learned in this regard. There appear to be very few coincidences in their work, they were observant and industrious, the products are the result of deep contemplation and intent. This book provides great insight into the power and strategy of symbolic work, using a universal language (geometry) to communicate great knowledge in a way that supersedes time and cultural amnesia.
In closing, I find it interesting that the original inspiration for my seeking out this information, the old Civil Defense logo has been replaced. It is interesting to me that the new logo, for the new Emergency Management agency is an icon of the letters EM with a circle and three stars. These three stars have a surprising correlation to the belt stars of Orion and the pyramids at Giza. The more I learn the harder it becomes to accept these items as coincidental.
Gary Osborn and Scott Creighton unleash stunning information about the Great Pyramid and the Giza complex. In a world where the majority of people are not well-informed as to the many mysteries and wonders hidden under our noses, they have added even more credence to the fantastic mathematical certainties and allusions that were engineered into the Great Pyramid.
Undoubtedly, the Great Pyramid could not have been constructed by anyone from this epoch of humanity, leaving us to question the origins and purpose for its construction. A prophecy in stone and mathematics is exposed by Osborn's research, which leaves readers wondering what the fate of humanity is really all about.
Could the earliest Freemasons dating back to Solomon's Temple have possessed knowledge that could only be divulged in art and secret meetings? Did the true message of the ancient engineers become convoluted by time only to be exposed through geometry and current day astronomy?
The Giza Prophecy is further proof that there is much more to our history than that espoused by those who continue to conceal knowledge that Osborn and Creighton bring to plain sight.
I read a lot of books about the pyramids of Egypt. This one stands out. Because it treats the pyramid designers with reverence it extracts revelations others have missed. It’s worth the read if you’re a pyramid enthusiast.
