Není to typická autobiografie ve stylu výčtu let a událostí a osobností, se kterými se autor setkal. Hned na začátku říká, že se pustil do psaní proto, aby nepřišel o vzpomínky. A přesně tím kniha je, sbírkou vzpomínek. Je to, jako byste s autorem zašli na skleničku a on vám vyprávěl o svém životě, co na srdci, to na jazyku (potažmo na papíře). Kniha tak působí intimněji, osobitěji. A je to určitě zajímavý náhled do života několika slavných osobností, hlavně pak Anthonyho Delona, jeho otce a také matky. Odnesla jsem si z ní, že žádný z nich to neměl v hlavě tak docela v pořádku, hlavně Alain Delon. Možná byl fešák a skvělý herec, ale neměl daleko k psychopatovi. Jako člověka bych ho nejspíš nesnesla.

Not so great

The book mostly covers his stormy relation with his father. He focused on his mother, who he adores and his godfather and god mother. His life is kind of irrelevant in a way. Definitely not worth a book.

A big eye opening book. We idealize famous people without any knowledge of their true character, the demons they are fighting and how they project it to the closest people around them.
