We already met Sebastian Wescott from the first two books in the series. In book two, he was suspected and arrested for killing Eric Chambers. In Tall, Dark, and Framed, we have Seb's story. It was already established that Seb was set up. His brother Dorian hired Susan to represent him in court. The sexual chemistry/attraction between them was palpable and seemed real.

I loved Sebastian. He was such an amazing man. He's my kind of hero—Smart, kind, reliable, and not to mention hot and sexy and gorgeous. I loved the way he loved Susan and the way he paid attention to her and her needs. He was a true gentleman through and through.

Susan was a real trooper. She's smart, ambitious, strong, feisty, yet sweet. She's trying to get back on her own feet after she divorced her husband, and representing Seb in court was a big opportunity to prove her worth.

And there's only one thing she needed from Seb, his alibi the night Eric was killed. But he only told her and the police that he was out of town for business. They both knew that it wouldn't help him unless he gave more details.

Seb had known the risks when he’d accepted the covert mission for the Texas Cattleman’s Club that prevented him from providing the alibi that would clear his name.
Because behind the club's elegant, polished facade was a secret organization so select, its members could work covertly to protect the innocent's lives. When they weren’t involved in secret missions, the membership focused their collective energy on keeping their bustling West Texas hometown prosperous and civic-minded.

But could Seb find a way of protecting the club without sacrificing his heart, his and Susan's happiness in the process?

Tall, Dark, and Framed was an enjoyable read. The whole suspense/mystery element in this book was more present than in the previous books. We got to know more about it. I can't wait to read the next book.

A fairly decent book for something from the category romance line. It's cute and romantic and good light-reading.

The big problem with the book is that it is #3 of a 5-book set that has an overall story arc. There's a bad-guy common throughout the set and ultimately revealed in the last book. Unfortunately, I only have this one and so I'm stuck left wanting to know who set Seb up for murder. It's really annoying. So this book is best read if you at least have the last book of the series.
