Poetry is a little new to me. Like most art, all I know about it is derived from the feelings it ignites within me, the images light-burnt against me, the soft pulling of pathos. The pieces collected in this book were a bit of a scattershot. Some hitting me in the temple, some missing me completely. But I enjoyed my time with each and in consuming these poems I have a better appetite for more.
