"Using probability theory, the theory of combinatorial games, and game theory, you can calculate, and even improve, your chance of winning. Jorg Bewersdorff has succeeded in making the use of these mathematical theories in games accessible, entertaining, and useful to anyone who likes to play ... and win." The strategies discussed in this book can be applied to such diverse and popular games as Roulette, Monopoly, Chess, Go, numerous card games, and many more. Bewersdorff reviews the mathematical tools for the different types of games and emphasizes the implementation of these techniques so that players can put them to work immediately.
