Lisa Suzanne's latest sports romance series, Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team, is now complete and what a crazy good ride it was getting there! These are not standalones, so read in order or be sadly lost and totally confused. Book 5, Hardball pulls all the broken pieces of Cooper Noah and Gabby Grant's story together so brilliantly, my book loving hat was tipping in her direction again! I wasn't sure how in the world she was going to make that happen after that shocking cliffie at the end of Groundball, but I should know better than to ever doubt Lisa Suzanne!
She had plenty of tricks up her sleeves, like putting a few of her characters (and her readers) through some unbelievably tumultuous times. No one wants to be stuck between a rock and a hard place, especially ones that seemed nearly impossible to get out from under. I was worried for the happiness of many of these wonderful characters, but I loved how things played out with Cooper, even though there were times when I wanted to wring his handsome neck. Then there was Gabby- she had strength way beyond what I gave her credit for as she faced an uncertain future.
The 'hows and whys' of how their one of a kind love finds it's happily ever after will have to be yours to discover, dear fans. Spoilers would ruin all the fun- there are way too many amazing moments to be revealed- each one, more memorable than the next. These characters may have taken the long way around to get there, but I really loved how things ended up for my favorite Vegas couple and the people they loved most. I adore Ben and Kaylee- my other Vegas besties, and what a bonus it was seeing them pop in here and there during this series.
I know the smiles will be wide and maybe a few tears will be shed when the last pages are turned in Hardball, but there could NOT have been a better way to finish this series than the one I just read. Kudos to Lisa Suzanne- Hardball brought all the Vegas heat and then some- the bases were loaded and the fans are going wild as she hit it out of the park again with this fantastic sports romance series.

We pick up right where we left off after the heartbreaking ending of the last book. There’s a lot of things to work through and both Gabby and Cooper struggle for awhile. Gabby is feeling alone and abandoned and terrified by her life falling to pieces around her. It feels like she has no one left to turn to for support.

I am so glad this was the last book! I don’t know how much more heartache I could take. I couldn’t believe how the last book ended with two broken couples. Cooper and Gabby go through so much heartache while the team is in Arizona for a month. Gabby tries to be there for Joanie. Troy was such jerk after what went down on his wedding night. Gabby sure wasn’t ready to forgive him. It broke my heart on all the turmoil Cooper was going through with his decision. Needless to say it affected his game. There were some wonderful surprises at the end that made me so happy. I strongly encourage you to read this book, especially if you have read the previous books! I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

After the Heart wrenching ending of book #4, I was prepared for this book to be emotional, but what a ride, my emotions were all over the place! Perfectly written, full of heartache, love and hard decisions, along with romance, humour and heat, this has to be my favourite series so far. I love Cooper & Gabby. I have become so invested in their story that I didn't want it to end, yet Lisa Suzanne pulled it all together perfectly, giving an amazing end to this phenomenal series, proving why she is fast becoming a favourite author of mine. I cannot recommend this book, and series, highly enough. An absolute must read.

Hardball is the final book in this series and it picks up right where it left off in the last book. This ending did not disappoint, we see both Cooper and Gabby go through all their ups and downs and I am so happy we finally get to see them get their HEA. This finally book was everything we needed.
Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose did amazing in this book and in the entire series. I highly recommend the audios for this series.

Amazing end to a fabulous series. Cooper and Gabby had an amazing love story that got better with each book and culminated in a fantastic HEA ❤️. This author never fails to deliver the love with a side of drama...making it impossible for the reader to not fall in love with the characters of her books. I love every single book I have read so far and each new series she releases is better than the last!

This Series Hit a Home Run!!
For the finale in the Vegas Heat series Ms. Suzanne brought everything to the plate. OMG my heart was ripped apart in the very first part of this book and then was put back together again by the end. This series was amazing with putting the story together with baseball star Cooper Noah and go getter Gabby Grant whose dad was not only Cooper’s best friend but also the manager of the startup team from Vegas.
With each book I received I devoured them and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. I have become a big fan of the sports romance genre after what I’ve read from this author and I highly recommend to set some time aside and dig in on all the books in this unforgettable series.

I needed a hot minute to put together this review after speeding through this book. Hardball picks up almost to the second we left Groundball. My heart was already in tatters from that ending, and this beginning did not make it any better! Cooper and Gabby are both feeling distraught, heartbroken and guilty after Troy finds out about their dating behind his back. Cooper makes the wrong decision (in my opinion), while Gabby tries to make sense of what has happened - and what will happen - to her life.
They both try to go on, pretending everything's fine. However, Cooper makes a serious decision to pave the way to either win Gabby back or drive her away even further. How will Troy, the rest of the team, and most importantly, Gabby react? Is it too little, too late for Cooper and Gabby?
I simply could not put this book down. I read it in three hours because I was so desperate for Captain and Sunshine's happily ever after. Their emotional connection, their love for one another, it all truly made their story one of Lisa's best. The drama, the angst, the twists and turns were all worth it for this ending. I absolutely loved it. And I can't wait to read about more of The Heat!

Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down until I finished! And holy macaroni it was a total perfection. Cooper Noah and Gabriella Grant are definitely my favorite couple and this is definitely my favorite series of all the Vegas world. This final book was everything you needed. You are going to be mad, angry, concerned, happy, ecstatic is going to keep you on the edge. So many emotions here you’re going to maybe cry but definitely swoon. Cooper knows what to say and when, and you are going to want a Cooper Noah all for yourself. I wasn’t ready to face the end of this series but is was so worth reading it. Can’t wait for more Vegas Heat.

The journey this couple went through was a wild ride. This series does follow the same couple and each book leaves off on a cliff hanger so just know that going in.
I do wish Cooper groveled a little longer and I truly wish Gabby’s mom got more in return for her shitty behavior but i will take what I can get cause Mackenzie got what she deserved 😂
The growth of these characters was so much fun to read and I can’t wait to read Danny’s story next!

This is book 5 and the final book of the Expansion Team series and as the book are a continuation of each other, MUST be read in order!
For the first half of the book I was annoyed. And kept thinking “why.. why don’t these two ever just TALK! Full disclosure..no more secrets!!!” And then the other half was somewhat predictable.
But I still loved it. lol I’m glad They all got their HEA in the end!

What an ending! This was such an emotional whirlwind packed into the finale.
There was so much emotion packed into the ending of this series. It was full of sadness, but also hope.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the conclusion to the Vegas Heat Series so make sure you read the other four books first. Hardball picks up where Grounball ends & the angst that follows is wonderful because you truly feel their pain at being separated while knowing they will eventually get their happy ending. It's the perfect ending for Cooper & Gabby's story.
Although Cooper believes that he's doing the right thing by walking away from Gabby, he's plagued by thoughts & feelings knowing that he's losing something special. However, his dedication to stay true to the commitment he made to Troy & the team leave him sacrificing his own wants. Yet, although he's trying to do his best playing the game he loves, he can't find it in himself to feel that love for the game like he used to. Like him, Gabby can't find it in herself to care about staying on with the team after her internship is over. She's carrying out her duties but it's not with the same excitement that she did before. Feeling abandoned, rejected, & hurt by both Cooper & her dad leave her feeling unsure & scared about her future. The wounds that her mother caused are open again & she feels even more alone in her pregnancy.
The pacing of the story is done well giving readers time to suffer their breakup while seeing them both come to terms with the decisions they want to make for their futures. Their feelings & thoughts are raw so you can't feel upset with what their actions, even if you don't agree with them. But, their reunion will make it worth it in the end. There were a couple of surprises but nothing extreme that readers will dislike. There are no loose ends that need to be tied up,though the plot lines concerning her mom & Mia could've been developed more or left alone. There are little hints for the future books to come too. I know some readers don't like books ending on cliffhangers but this series was good at keeping you hooked & all of the books were easy & quick to read. Also, thankfully, the author didn't make you wait too long in between releases. I greatly enjoyed this series. It was the perfect introduction to the author's writing & I will continue reading more from them. &, while I'm sad to say goodbye to Cooper & Gaby for now, I look forward to reading more from the Vegas Heat team.

Hardball by Lisa Suzanne is the fifth and final book from Vegas Heat: Expansion Team series.
Cooper and Gabby’s story continues with picking right up from the cliffhanger in Groundball.
Lisa Suzanne truly had the emotions and feelings coming out in the droves when it came to Cooper and Gabby, making it probably one of if not the most emotionally charged rollercoaster ride they ventured upon throughout the series.
So much exploration was needed to be said and done, considering the aftermath of the events that went down between Cooper and Gabby. And to say Lisa came through is an understatement.
Honestly IMO she went above and beyond, not only with having Cooper and Gabby express throughout all that they endured, dealt with and faced.
Given the dual POVs, it allowed for the showcasing of their personal inner monologue that gave an in-depth detailed look into their emotions from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
Pouring right off the pages, it hit you hard at times having you choked up. Particularly when it came to seeing both Cooper and Gabby’s pain and heartache.
Hardball truly ended up being a whirlwind of a journey, though more so from the emotional aspect.
However that didn’t mean there wasn't more to the narrative on other accounts, since whilst dealing with the aftermath of what went down between Cooper and Gabby.
It led to the two navigating through their own personal individual journeys that led to some moments of drama, which did lead to them facing situations that tested their strength.
But with the help of family and friends, it gave them the courage needed to push through and end up finding the answers they needed as well for making some important decisions for their future. Particularly in Cooper's case, since it helped him realise what mattered the most and needed to be done to achieve it.
In the end Hardball ended up being such a sweet, cute and overly emotional read that delivered in not only tying up all the loose ends. But finally delivering the HEA Cooper and Gabby deserved.
A job well done to Lisa Suzanne for writing a great ending to what was a great series overall that was Vegas Heat: Expansion Team.

In the explosive ending to Groundball, Troy finds out on his Wedding Day about Cooper and Gabby. Troy blows up at his best friend, Cooper. He forces a decision on Cooper to honor his three-year commitment to the team. He finds out that Joanie, the love of his life, knew and calls off the wedding. Gabby is devastated, Joanie disappears and Cooper must make an impossible choice and Troy is feeling betrayed and hurt that he was lied too. In short four lives are impacted by secrets.
Gabby cannot tell Copper about the baby, she wants him to choose her and their love for each other. Who can she talk to? Joanie is missing and because of she and Cooper’s secret her life is a mess too. Her best friend Mia is not communicating. Gabby is feeling increasingly isolated and lonely.
Meanwhile Copper is simply not interested in the game. He and the team are in Arizona for a month and Troy is not talking to him. Cooper is trying to do what is right. Maybe Gabby will have better opportunities without him. He did make a commitment to the team but at what cost? He is miserable.
Then his ex-girlfriend shows up at a pre-season game inferring that she is pregnant with his baby. That is simply not the case. He says nothing to the press but a story leaks. This is the last installment of Lisa Suzanne’s fabulous “Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team” series, Cooper Noah and Gabby Grant’s story, and it has been a steamy and emotional rollercoaster ride for those two. Lisa Suzanne made these two work for their happily ever after, and I loved being along for their journey. This story picks up where the last book, “Groundball”, ended, an ending that tore the two apart and the two are trying to live their lives separately. Both are very unhappy and what Cooper did is unforgivable, which hit on all of Gabby’s insecurities, but she has more to think about, including finishing school and her future career. I loved all the layers of this story and how everything played out, despite having to curse out her father a few times, but he redeems himself in the end, and not only for his daughter. Like all the earlier books, the story is captivating from start to end and the writing, plot, world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The drama is non-stop, and there is a perfect balance of angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Lisa Suzanne, thank you for this amazing story and emotions roller ride.

OMG! So worth the wait.. seeing how the last story ended, I couldn’t wait to devour this audiobook!
Fantastic Story with amazing characters and narrators who brought this story to life!
Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose masterful narration was very well executed bringing All the characters together, especially when they voice the protagonists Cooper and Gabby… I personally couldn’t imagined anyone else playing those two characters.. and must say, Stephanie Rose voicing the male characters.. it was sexy I tell you!
This woman has officially made a fan out of me .
But yeah let’s get to this !
If you’ve been following the series this far then you know that this one the Hardball is THE final of this series… and let me tell the story that ended on a cliffhanger and left us with tons of questions.. well.. Hardball certainly picked up right where we left off and gave us a fantastic story with the most memorable HEA!
Hardball is Gabby and Cooper final journey to their HEA and what a A journey it was! I enjoyed every single moment of each one, from Curveball Fastball Flyball Groundball to Hardball each highlighted Cooper and Gabby beginnings to their struggles and to personal growth!
All on all this final book gives us the closing moments and so much more we needed for this couple.
And once again having the voices of Stephanie Rose and Aiden Snow in my ears for this entire series also made this sweet book by Lisa Suzanne well worth Listening!
I for one am hoping somehow we will get glimpses of these characters in other series.. if not I certainly wouldn’t mind a bonus book of Cabby Cooper and Troy and extended family ! (Winky faced )
Please do give this sweet series a listen, you will most definitely fall in love with these characters, while cussing them out and swooning with their sweetness at times!

The Decision:
As the story begins (the last in the 5 series of Vegas Heat, The Expansion Team) the secret romance of Gabby and Cooper has come to a head. Her father and Joanie are at the wedding chapel, her as her father catches Cooper kissing her. Quite the ending in Book #4, as everything (and everyone’s relationship) comes crashing down. Now, the pieces ae scattered and our hero and heroine are in a difficult position; Cooper is given an ultimatum about staying on the Team, and Gabby realizes their secret has ended Joanie’s relationship with her father while her own life has taken a different course.
Ms. Suzanne ties up all of the ribbons into bows with this story, as Cooper goes a long way toward understanding what is important in his life and Gabby comes to terms with change, she didn’t think she wanted. I was thrown off a bit when the secondary characters came more to the forefront. I liked the Justin “twist” as it gave Gabby depth, however I thought the “surprise” for Joanie and Troy was over the top to where we knew them to be in their relationship. MacKenzie was another loose end, as I had an ominous feeling about her that didn’t come to fruition.
Overall, Hardball was what I wanted in an ending—sweet, romantic, funny, with just enough angst to keep us hooked. Ms. Suzanne’s characters are relatable and endearing. Her stories hold enough fantasy to keep us swooning and a lifestyle just out of our everyday reach. I actually enjoy the cliffhangers at the end of each; it gives drama to the stories and keeps interest flowing until the next release! I would highly recommend any of her books.

Told in first person dual POV, this installment includes age-gap, workplace, and forbidden love tropes. It follows the relationship between pro baseball player Cooper Noah and marketing major and intern Gabby Grant.
The story picks up where the previous one ended in the devastating aftermath that ensued after Troy found out that Gabby and Cooper were secretly dating. Troy called off his wedding with Joanie because she knew about and kept their secret, then he convinced Cooper to break up with Gabby and prioritize his commitment to the Heat.
Cooper is away for spring training, and Troy is not speaking to him. Gabby is feeling alone and abandoned, and she’s not speaking to Troy. She’s also keeping the news of her pregnancy a secret because she doesn’t want that to be the reason Cooper comes back to her. Everybody has broken up, is trying to move on, and feels miserable. There are no easy solutions.
I enjoyed this fifth and final installment of Gabby and Cooper’s story. There are still some twists and turns in this book, but eventually, all the complications are overcome, and all loose ends are tied up as Gabby and Cooper reach their hard-fought and long-awaited happy ending. All of Lisa Suzanne’s Vegas sports serials are so much fun! I’m looking forward to Danny’s story next in the Vegas Heat series and Travis’s story next in the Vegas Aces series.

Curveball is the first book in the Vegas Heat: Expansion Team series. The FMC Gabby and the MMC Cooper instantly had connection and their chemistry is off the charts. They both keep secrets from each other and this does end on a cliffhanger.
Fastball started where the cliffhanger left off in Curveball and boy it delivered when it came to bringing forth the major drama, some mystery, growing suspense.
It also delivered when it came to their relationship or lack of. The realizations that came to light ended up changing their relationship. Coopers constantly running hot and cold when it came to Gabby, due to his feelings of wanting her but knowing he can’t because of her dad. It ends on a cliffhanger.
Flyball dives into the relationship with a ton of obstacles, and secrets. Their relationship is tested by external/internal pressures and the need to keep their relationship hidden. It ends in a cliffhanger.
Groundball is the 4th book and it continues where Flyball left off. Cooper and Gabby’s story continues and the angst and heartbreak is good. Keeping their secrets is getting harder.

Hardball is the final book in the Vegas Heat- Expansion Team series by Lisa Suzanne... this series MUST be read in order each book picks up where the previous one left off- only this time Lisa didn't leave us hanging from a cliff 😉
Gabby and Cooper's story has been filled with some suspenseful drama and delicious heat over the course of the 5 books. Book 4 definitely left me with some lingering anxiety that picked right back up in the first chapter of Hardball, but everything falls into place just the way it should. Honestly, for me the spikes of heartbreak, miscommunication and outside influences was actually much more tame than it was for some of the guys in Lisa's Vegas Aces books.
This book wraps up pretty quickly- I must have been devouring the pages too fast that I was scared of another twist as everything appeared it was clicking into place. There are some twists but they are of the good variety! I adore the way that everything came together for Cooper and Gabby and that it didn't feel like the story dragged at all.
With my hate of cliffhangers I never thought I'd be able to read a series like these- but that just goes to show you what magic Lisa Suzanne can craft with her books that I have put myself through the ups, downs and all the insanity in between not only once but 5 times now! Hardball picks up right where Groundball ends, and I knew this book was going to be a roller coaster from the beginning! In Groundball, Cooper was forced to decide his future in baseball. Although he believes he’s doing what he thinks is right by walking away from Gabby, will he truly be happy? Both Gabby and Cooper are heartbroken, and I have to be honest, I really wanted to smack some sense into Cooper, and Troy, even though at the same time my heart was breaking for them. You feel their pain at being separated and heartbroken as they are both losing something special. Have they made the right decisions? Will Troy ever forgive them? Can they survive and move on without each other? What will the month away at training camp do to them?
