Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Him To The Altar Again

With one bad marriage under his belt and a little girl by his side, Jake Montgomery solemnly swears that he doesn't want another wife. Until a femme fatale in a wedding dress shows up snagged -- like a bird of paradise -- on his barbed-wire fence. That's when forgotten hormones start to buck like broncos and the solo dad knows he's in for the ride of his life.

Madeline Tate just got stood up by her fiance. But who cares -- if she's about to be rescued by a guy with eyes as deep and blue as the cloudless Nevada sky? Faced with sweet temptation, Madeline is dying for Jake to invite her in, hoping that if she spends some time under the rancher's roof maybe -- just maybe -- he'll give love another chance.

I've read this writer previously and she does a great job of books in this style.

A bit hard to get past the beginning. Madeline just came across as a rich, spoiled snob.

Decided to make myself read more & I did enjoy it.

Cute cowboy romance. Loved the bull storyline. Great way to break up a string of thrillers or the more emotional romances.

In Thomas’ romance story, solo dad Jake Montgomery is burned on marriage and unwilling to even consider marriage again. That is until he stumbles across a bride snagged on his barbed-wire fence and all his protective instincts rise to the surface.

Madelyn Tate has just been stood up at her own wedding. But when she meets Jake she begins to think that just maybe divine intervention was at play.

A good Cowboy at Heart love story.

Not in any way based in reality, but it is funny:) Her fiance dumps her at the alter, and she goes across the Nevada desert, runs out of gas then gets the dress caught in a barbed wire fence... It take several turns, but in is inevitable that the "Bride" and the "Cowboy" that rescues her will fall in love. Funny , short, nice evening read:)

It was a cute story but predictable. After being left at the alter in Vegas, Maddy takes off in herr rental car with only her wedding dress on since the runaway groom took all her luggage. Her car runs out of gas and she gets stuck in a barbed wire fence where cowboy Jake Montgomery must come to her rescue with his little girl, Annie, by his side.
