Have always been intrigued by Kinkade's work. I have gotten into painting myself of late so I pulled this book off my shelf and read up about this prolific artist. I also flagged many of the paintings in the book that I will use to inform my own work in the future

Beautiful artwork, but the book feels repetitive and a bit surface-level. I enjoyed flipping through the paintings more than reading the commentary. Worth it for fans, but not very engaging overall.

Good background on Kincade's early years and his artistic development as a young man onwards. Excellent full colour pictures of many of his works.
As it only covers 20 years, it does cover until the end of his life in 2012.
