Rosemary Wells - isn't she the creator of Max & Ruby?
When I found this I didn't the "Golden Rules for a Happy Classroom". That wouldn't have stopped me from getting it so it doesn't matter but the books I get are for my daughter and I to read at home together so I want to note that my review for this doesn't come from any classroom reading.
There are 6 chapters included here and each is, give or take a few, about 20-30 pages. The text is not small and there are a decent number of pages with little to no text at all. This makes it perfect for reading a chapter or two at a time. We read two chapters a night, before bedtime, for three nights.
Yoko and her mom are pretty cute characters which helps because Julia was interested from the beginning. Some of the stories include lessons about letting go, teasing others and being creative, etc. There's a nice array of subjects which allows the reader and listener to keep their attention on the stories.
I'd definitely recommend for preschool/kindergarten age kids.

This book has 6 different stories about integrity and classroom etiquette in one book.
The illustrations are so cute and are very fitting to the stories. The author does a great job showing different situations one may come about in the classroom, and how you can bring it around to end on a positive note. I would definitely recommend this book.

Fun to read to PreK or Kinder class - one chapter every day. Problems students will relate to.

My daughter loves to read this one. I only wish she could make the connection between the lessons and her interactions with her little brother. Good independent read but also a good read aloud.
