A Brilliant Introduction to Reading Accounts

This is a brilliantly written book for anyone who wants to know how and what accounting is all about. If you are not sure where to begin then this is a good start to begin with.
I loved this book so much I immediately purchased the book itself as you need to read it again and refer to the statement of accounts at the end of this book.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and will continue to refer to it when stuck on an account information. Best wishes Sean

Accounts Demystified is an excellent introduction to accounting. A lot can be learned from the book from the view point of a beginning. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into evaluating businesses on the stock market.

This book is good. It does a good job at introducing accounting concepts. There are a few places where there is a swift gloss-over complexity which I find disorienting.
A good grounding but there's really no substitute for a deeper discussion if I want to do more than run a hobby business.

For anyone for whom numbers, accounts and finance are not their strongpoint but would like to learn about basic accounting, this is the perfect book. The book introduces the basic concepts of accounting in a simple, step-by-step and clear manner. The book is short and very easy to read. I now feel I have a basic grasp of the underlying concepts of accountancy and finance. The book is aimed at people with no background in finance.
