On each spread little readers are challenged to match items, colors, patterns, shapes, or mothers with babies.

This is a great book to build a child's brain development. The matching varies in difficulty and the pictures are nice and vibrant to keep their attention. There are other little tidbits of information for curious readers along the way too.

My baby didn’t like this book very much. It is meant for One to four year olds so perhaps he will like it more when he is older. It is a bit dry to read, but I am definitely a fan of teaching shapes and colors so I have to give credit for that. Also the pictures are great quality.

Asks children (toddler age) to math patterns, shapes, colors, and like kinds of animals on each page. A great beginner book to get kids looking at the page and sorting out kinds in their mind.

AMAZING! Maybe the best board book I've run across this year! Each page challenges the reader to match certain items (i.e. shapes, colors, patterns, size etc). Illustrations are big, bright, and bold. Great choice for sharing one-on-one.

Boys seem to navigate towards nonfiction books...books about real things. Animals are a top draw and you can't go wrong with a National Geographic book.

I think this book is too easy for Melanie, but she likes the pictures. Probably would have been better at the 18-24 month age range.
