While this little book LOOKED like a horror novel, it so was not. It was more a poorly written mystery novel, with some sex thrown in for an unknown reason. I thought the writing was pretty juvenile, and while the story wasn't completely terrible, it was filled with quite a few cliches. The fact that there are psychics in the novel isn't even used to its full capacity, it is more just a reason for people to hate them (yes, there is some serious psychic-hatred going on in the novel -- The "We-don't-like-your-kind" type of stuff). Overall, I was disappointed with this novel.
