Nicola is one of my favourite Australian romance authors (I have a few as you will find out). With Nic I always feel as if I'm ready to sit down with a cup of coffee and catch up with old friends.
That's what Nic brings to her writing for me warmth and friendship.

Web designer, Keely is assigned Lachlan, a talk show psychologist, as a client. The week before she had called the show and told him off on his response to an overweight girl. Fear of his remembering her and finding out about her own teenage issues makes her run hot and cold toward him. Lachlan has issues also around his parents marriage. This was a typical category plot that could have cut to the chase with a proper discussion. It had some cute parts but also annoying parts.

Very basic storyline, but both characters struggled with some hang ups, which saved it from being terrible. A decent brain candy read
