Glenna Finley is a native of Washington State. She earned her degree from Stanford University in Russian Studies and in Speech and Dramatic Arts, with emphasis on radio.
After a stint in radio and publicity work in Seattle, she went to New York City to work for NBC as a producer in its international division. In addition, she worked with the "March of Time" and Life magazine.
As a producer, she had her own show about activities in Manhattan, a show that was broadcast to England. The programs were similar to those of the "Voice of America."
Though her life in New York was exciting, she eventually returned to the Northwest where she married. Currently residing in Seattle with her husband Donald Witte and their son, she loves to travel, and draws heavily on her travels and experiences for the novels that have been published. Amanda was the editor for Chris, who was a best-selling author. After their platonic time together, he proposed just as she was loading the plane to fly back to New York. Taken by surprise, she didn't agree to fly to Las Vegas instead, which she regretted the minute the plane took off. Chris immediately left for a trip to South America for six months and then would only work with her publisher if Amanda did the editing. This is a travelogue of Mexico with interesting historical tidbits. Suspense and intrigue keep the story moving, and a large black dog adds some humor. Nice wrap up at the end.
