Bryce needs a partner to help him try to save McKenna Construction and Hailey needs some money to get her brother out of debt, He owes a loan shark a hundred thousand dollars due now if he wants to live. He doesn't have a job and his sister does not have that kind of money.

James Croft is a potential business partner for Bryce but he thinks that Bryce is too much of a playboy, so Bryce asks Hailey to marry him and he will pay off the gambling debt once she agrees. Also there is a family curse thrown in the middle of all this. Have I gotten your attention yet. Check out the book.

I have to admit it was a little slow getting my attention but once it got it I just couldn't put the book down.

I've read so many books in my life so I'm not sure if I've read this before or not but it reminded me of a Nora Roberts book (I can't think of the title.)

The story was fine but forced in some sections. I didn't feel like the two really connected.

With the use of a touch of paranormal, a lot of suspense and a great romance this book in the McKenna Legacy saga really pulls you in and does not let go.
