A member of our local Buy Nothing group was looking for this book and I was able to get a copy. Before passing it along, I did a quick read:
I think this might be a book for very successful poets and others, not really those who are poor. Most of the recipes have rather expensive ingredients in them (meats, wine, cream, butter), at least they're expensive now. I expected this to have a more "cobble these items together" feel to it, and other than using leftover bread in a number of ways, it was all rather extravagant.
