There is nothing in this that really relates to the Pinocchio story. It's more about turning Frankenstein's monster into a cold-blooded killer golem. Disappointed that more wasn't done, and the pacing is absolutely brutally slow, which makes it worse. Craig's pencils are cool, though, especially in how creepy he makes the monster. Still, not worth looking out for.

Really not what I expected, nor a really catching story. It felt a lot like an idea not yet fleshed out and the story stopped before it even started…
Basically it felt like a short retelling of Frankenstein that disregards the complexity of the creature/monster in the original. Here the son is just a rampant killer.

The story feels a bit rushed, and probably could have used another 100 pages or so to breathe, but overall this is a fine, if somewhat uninspired mash-up of Pinocchio and Frankenstein.
