While travelling to El Paraiso, she was bewildered by strangers who mistook her for somebody else. Most especially from an arrogant, handsome stranger that unnerved her. The small town was picture-perfect. Adrian Olivar was always there in every turn.
Martha Cecilia is a bestselling Filipino romance novelist who writes for Precious Pages Corporation. Many of her books have been adapted on TV including Impostor and her highly-acclaimed, Kristine Series.
Available ang both ebook and physical book for purchase sa online shop nila.
One of MC' s trademark. Na pa suspense ang effect. Once you got started, you wi get hooked and don't want to stop reading it. Until you will not finished the whole story.
Mother and daughter bond, nobody can take away it.
The story ia superb! Nice plot twist! Omg! This book is really a gem from MC herself! This book proves that i stan the right author.❤ The sensuality, conflict, romance, and danger. All in one.❤❤ El Paraiso is a story that will leave the readers breathless 'til the last page.😊

Done with El Paraiso. It started a tragic beginning and ended with a bitin ending. ☹️
Too young?
But oh well, sana mapanindigan nila ‘yung characters and the story itself. 🙊
Having seen the TV adaptation 'Araw, Gabi' first, I went into this book thinking I already knew the plot. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the series had significantly diverged from the source material, leaving plenty of new territory to explore.
The story itself is compelling. The chemistry and sexual tension between the leads are intense, and the narrative is driven by a thrilling search for the truth. I particularly enjoyed the blend of mystery and romance, and the descriptions of El Paraiso were so vivid I could easily visualize the setting.
However, the reading experience was not without its flaws. I admit I lost interest around the halfway mark as the story seemed to lose its spark, though I am glad I pushed through. The book also suffered from several typos that caused confusion, at one point making it difficult to track who was speaking or referred to. I also found myself wishing for more closure for some secondary characters, as I was left wondering what happened to them after the main events.
Despite these technical issues, finishing the book was ultimately rewarding. It's a solid story that successfully combines a tense mystery with a passionate romance.
No one can truly claim to be the pioneer of small-town romance, because Martha Cecilia is undoubtedly one of the OGs of this genre. El Paraiso is set in a fictional town in the Bicol region. Since it was written in the early 2000s, readers have to rely on their imagination to visualize the setting—the tower ruins, the whales, the beach, and the beautiful landscape.
The story carries emotional depth, making it worthy of an adaptation (though I haven’t seen it myself). It contains all the signature elements of a classic Filipino telenovela - betrayal by a friend, a lost child, and a series of conflicts. The narrator vividly brought Michelle and Adrian to life; through changes in tone and delivery, each character was given distinct personality and emotion.
However, I was quite disappointed that Precious Hearts didn’t finish uploading the remaining episodes on Spotify. I was already emotionally invested in discovering who was trying to ruin Michelle, only to find that episodes from 28 onward were missing. Perhaps it’s a sign that I should purchase a copy of the book instead because I truly can’t move on without knowing how the story ends.
Then i found out its el paraiso by martha. Kaya pala sabi ko parang hawig yung kwento sa nabasa ko ng novel ni martha long time ago.. 😭 My favorite author. Halos lahat ng novel niya binili kopa. You are my forever favorite martha. I cried when you died. 😭😍 But im happy that they featured your novel.
