Really coolly-designed and compelling account of the long-running BFG, the notorious Molson Ex beer-swilling, skinhead-fighting, bike riding punk commune-cum-gang-cum-band. These habitués of the hippie/bohemian Kensington Market neighborhood in Toronto were 'led' by Steve Goof, lover of many (MANY) punk girls, Scottish-Jamaican Jew (really!) and cousin of Toronto, jazz singer, Molly Johnson (who gets a shout-out at the end for finding the first of the many 'Fort Goof' communal houses BFG lived in). If this story wasn't true, it would be hard to believe as a fictional, made-up version. There's a film in this somewhere, trust! The BFG were legendary in high school for the fights they got into and for being all-around 'dangerous.' It was nice to hear the 'real' story behind the legend.
